I’m happy SOMEONE is producing bayonetta games at this point. As a bonus I finally have two reasons to own a switch, Prime 4 and Bayo 3! Heres hoping Bayo 3 comes out in a year or two, platinums usually okay about dev times. Oh what a Christmas that would be if this shit breaks Holiday 2018~

So after some thought heres the real question, we fought heaven and hell, whats next? Are we gonna do an Underworld and have the Humans enter the war as a third faction, using weird plothole powered tech to battle angels and demons?
The switch finally has a game.
Interesting video comparing all the teaser trailers from the previous Bayonetta game and this one.
I don’t buy the idea that they are killing Bayonetta off as she is Platinum Games most know and popular IP and although they don’t have control over it, she is still worth more to them and Sega ‘alive’ but I can see them going the route of a new character as they pretty much have little in the way of introducing another god-like character in this universe that she can fight. A new character as the primary POV can be done and so long as the action is great, the humor still cheeky and everything over the top this should still hit home with the audience.
I expect them to MGS2 it and have someone new in the lead, while Bayonetta and crew are also there supporting in the background.
I’m glad they’re making a 3rd Bayo game, but it’s annoying that it’s another console exclusive. When’s switch emulation?

I hate when the devs feel they have to tack on multiplayer to a game that nether requires it or is not suited to it.
Bayo 2 always had arcade style competitive co-op. The only thing new here is adding local play
I was pretty excited for the announcement, but I’ll admit I freaked out harder when they announced Bayo for smash though. It probably seemed more unlikely at the time.
