Hey, just noticed this thread through the shoryuken home page. I take it that I could just show up at 7 with five dollars and just play other people? This is purely casual, correct?
How many people usually show up every week? Should I just bring a stick and I’ll be all set?
a lot of people show up good nights but there is always good competition.
It’s just casuals I recommend bringing own stick so you don’t have to wait if there’s an open station.
Going to see if maybe we can run mock tournys and maybe teams once in awhile

Yup, good stuff to those I played in SSF4 and Blazblue. Good to see that my Blazblue skills have only diminished slightly since I last played.

How safe is it to ride the train back to Manhattan that late? I barely moved here about 2 weeks ago so I haven’t ventured that late that far 
not sure what you mean if out here safe or there. If you are from manhattan you prob have spots closer to you CTF for example
I would go to the ronk line(Central Islip or deerpark) line those always have people out late. Bayshore is always dead and once saw bunch of kids bothering some old dude. As far as taking subways and stuff towards the city I never had a problem or seen anything
