Really? I always heard to the contrary, because you really can’t take it much further at this point. Where did you get this info because I’d really like to know what the ratings took a nose dive? They were promoting so hard last season, it seemed like the show was doing well for them.
really? weird…i had heard it was rating thats why i had seen people talking about saving the show. Didn’t know they had a definite ending…if thats true i truly respect that. I heard the rating thing soo long ago so i cant even remember for sure where it was. But i’m glad to know it wasnt the farscape situation or stargate where it was purely based on ratings.
iirc, Maxx is right about the ratings. The time slot change didn’t help neither did the ridiculous shit that happened over the course of S3.
Personally, I liked much of S3.
I’m not sure about the ratings, but in the official podcasts Ron Moore did say that he has no intention of extending it because the story he plotted will take only one more season to tell.
The time slot sucked. Watching it on sunday is mega fail. I think they should have stuck around on New Caprica longer. There was plenty of stuff story wise they could have done there. There was just way too much soap opera bs with Starbuck and Lee, and I think the religous awakening of Baltar and Xena was beyond stupid. Other than that, I liked it.

At least the 2 hour ep for Razor will be out next month with the err, extended? unrated? version airing early December.

Moore wants to do a straight season, 20 eps, starting April. That’s probably bullshit just to please the fans.
