Yea, that shit totally ruins it for me. It’s like watching lord of the rings, and thinking “Gandalf gets buttsex”
karas going easy on people in her old age…in the past she woulda knock baltar the fuck out and kick his balls for fun.
I totally missed the point of that whole scene. Baltar outs Kara and all anyone can do is look at him funny while Kara comes and slaps him like he groped her ass.
because she found her own body on earth. so he’s claiming she died at some point and came back. he’s trying to prove…christianity i think. its a play on how christianity/judism came to be vs the multi god theory.
I’m talking the scene specifically, just seemed out of place. This whole episode seemed kinda pointless tbh, just an hour-long “the ship is dying, oh, and now everyone really knows Kara’s a freak” No real revelations, no answers, etc. Seemed like just a placeholder. Olmos usually directs better episodes.
Not much really happened for one of the final few episodes.
all i could think at the end was:
“I FUCKING LOVE PAINTING YAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHLLLL!”
The last two eps better answer all our questions. Last night’s was just pretty boring.
Have not read the more recent posts because I have not seen Friday’s episode yet. Watching it either tonite or tomorrow time permiting.
Something I wanted to mention that I have been thinking about a while (which potentially might have been cleared up Friday, so bear with me)
I had a theory for a while, which became pretty solid when Boomer took Ellen and was pretty much nailed down when Boomer took Hera.
Cavil knows where the fleet is, has known for a while. He clearly knows where Earth is then, and it is possible and very likely he always knew (seeing as he knew the Final Five). He can track the fleet. At first glance you would think it is the damaged Basestar, but it is very likely that the Rebel Cylons would have realized this and disabled whatever he would use to track them. There has to be something else.
Why hasn’t Cavil just attacked? No ressurection. The Cylons are just as Mortal as the Colonials now, this is the deeper reason why he wanted Ellen to give them back Ressurection. In The Hub Cavil was mere minutes away from death, had he been killed a minute or so later he either would have had no body to be reborn in or not had time to get off the ressurection ship in time. The guy is afraid of death because he just staired it in the face.
Lol @ Bill painting the fence.
So they’re destroying the BSG eh… so is the show now going to be called Base Star Unknown for the last 2 eps?
Basestar Galactica.
I guess I did have one question, that beastly colony thing that boomer ended up going to at the 36:xx mark, that’s what Ellen was talking about, right?
Edit: Their “colony” since Cavil had already moved it … maybe Adama rams bsg into that thing
Hmm, didn’t think of that. They’re either going to give it a Pegasus sendoff, or they’re going to try and nuke it. I got money on Anders jumping the BSG away just before the nukes hit or something like that.
isnt it i fucking love coloring?
My money is on Adama and Tigh going down with the Galatica in some crazy bloodbath to get Hera back. Clich, sure, but that is where I see it going or something close.
Yeah, I can see that. Sagat is with Adama to the end. Damn toasters.
Also, it seems like they are going to make a movie because nothing HUGE has really happened, and there are what, two episodes left?
Anybody else think Baltar as a character has been doing nothing up until the last episode? After the trial, I see him being in the background and unimportant. Not that I really mind since this show has tons of characters, but in every episode we see him doing something random about his religion or with those cult people. They could have used that time for something better. It’s only the last episode where he started doing something remotely interesting with Kara’s tests. But even then that outburst during the ceremony was stupid.
One hour ep next week, 2 hour ep on the 20th. The only mention of a movie is “The Plan” which takes place during the miniseries and seasons one and two. I think they’ll end it, but I dunno if we’ll really get all the answers we want.
When that dude said
GAIUS BALTHTAR
I died so hard.
Yeah, that was pretty awesome.
I’m really hoping for a Pegasus ending for the BSG, where they crash it into the core of the Cylon colony, causing a massive explosion or some shit.
