And how will you decide if SSF4 is on ps3 or 360? my stick is not dual yet, so I would only be able to participate on one.
Playing the game on 360, then on PS3 right after another cannot be a good thing due to the lag difference. Also, playing on a CRT, then a LCD, then a plasma screen makes things even worse. If you were to make the conversion to PS3, then I think you should just make the tournament all PS3 and not half and half.

How many tourney’s in a row have they stole the payout! They have too many advantages and know too many secrets! I will watch but not play unless its REALLY cheap!
For now we will keep it on Xbox 360 because of lag issues stated by players between both systems. I will have to see what I can do to some how initiate the PS3 into the mix. The tournament starts at 2pm so you have time to come and reg.
I will definitely take this suggestion into great consideration.

emp has been taking “payouts” since the beginning of time. thats how tournaments work. do expect to get your ass handed. at least its not “donate $ to jwong” tourneys now.

I only have a ps3 controller and a joytron ps2 to xbox360 converter(without a wired xbox360 controller). If anybody is willing to share a xbox360 controller, that’s a different story. I’ll be willing to share my converter as well.
Most players are friendly and if you ask, I’m sure someone wouldn’t mind lending you a stick. But if you are playing on a pad, there should be a pad player or 2 there.

Is it going to be on the PS3 or not?
I would love to finally go to one of these but I only use a ps3 pad. I don’t understand why more tournaments are not played on the ps3. There are many people who use the ps3 pad, but not many at all who use the 360 pad…at least not many that would consider going to any tourneys I think. But the sticks are the same for both systems, so ps3 tourneys would get people who use both sticks and pads, but 360’s leave the people who use ps3 pads in the dust.
And as to the lag differences, wasn’t it like 1 frame every 90 seconds or something? I don’t think something like that could affect game play at any level.
