Triforce, since Justin likes using Fei and represents China, why not team Justin up with another player that plays a chinese character like myself (which I use Chun) or another Chun player, Fei Long + Chun-Li = Team Chinese Take Out/Ni Hao/For China/High Yellow/EMP Chinese Chicken. I’ll stop here with the team names

tekken teams would really work. they are like 20 tekken teams in new york city lmao! it be a good idea to prep for nec teams i say do it it would work really well and bring out everyone from NYC. ille have my team ready!

I’ve been playing and learning Sakura like mad since she’s my new main. I wonder how I’f fair t the tourney.
I’ve seen a couple of good players in this tourney with Sakura. Roland Li, and Citiofbrass for example have made it in the brackets fighting with her.
Yeah, I’d end up getting pretty nervous though since it’d be my first tourney. I sadly dont know anyone else near me or thats going to the event for that matter.

I can provide brackets with ALJ tourney maker 2.1, cutting work on paper to a breeze.
Otherwise, I can do both: play in a tournament with a partner and organize brackets with a proctor (in case something goes wrong, and/or some people are just
too damn nosy for their own good) to help out.

I see you are making the same mistake twise… You HAVE to involve the Zaibatsu community in these events if you want Tekken to be a good turnout at BFA’s. Your post on the front page says T6 will be 2v2 team tourney… I had to read thru the thread to see your post where you say it’ll be a singles tourney… You are once again piggybacking T6 on SF4’s shoulders.
Nowhere on TZ is this tourney posted… you WILL NOT get a good turnout again if you don’t promote T6 to it’s audience. It’s like posting a Brawl tourney here instead of the smash boards…
I checked the NYC thread and all they are talking about is the NEC and the next CF tourney (which hasn’t even been announced). BFA Tekken as of right now is a joke! The last tourney was ASS, no good players outside of gm and game… so I’m not sure how that makes GM the best EC Tekken player. He needs to go thru Fab, Exalted, Real Law, and others… (for the record GM I do think you might be the best on the EC but you have yet to go thru Fab to get that tittle and we both know it)
…with all that said, I am once again extending my hand to help you with Tekken since you have your glove full with SF4… Let me know, and for the sake of growing the T6 community I hope you make the right decision.
No one showed up to the last BFA because there was another tekken tournament going on around that time. as long as all the rules are kept the same as always and you get this on TZ players will show up.
We do all the CTF Tournaments for Tekken 6 so we know the T6 community inside and out, right now as of Tuesday a few players are in NJ for 8otB tournys as always and later tonight a few players will be at CTF for an all night tekken session. these are the best times to spread the word about BFA8 you just need enough people out there pushing this event.
