When and how does the registration end in this tournament ? Is there a certain limit of people that can join this tournament ?
Also Vegita-x , I wanted to say something about me using a “keyboard” for third strike ( Using it by PC KB to PS2 converter ) .
I understand that macros like PPP and KKK are ruled out in mostly every tournament out there in nearly every gaming tournament , however a lot of times performing even EX moves on my keyboard seems that it can’t input correctly a few times ( For now seeing it around 56 % of the time ) and can hurt my gameplay . In this case , will I be able to use PPP/KKK for my keyboard or do I have to follow the known rule of not using them ? If not I understand .
Doors will open at approximately 10:00am for casual and registration. Now due to the fact that I know most people will be running late you can register up until an hour of each tournament… So if your tourny starts for 3pm I will leave registration open until 2pm. Anyone bringing a system or a TV’s must contact me before Friday and be there with your set up Friday evening/night. There will be someone at the front door signing people in prior to u entering the ball room. That person will also have a form with the people names who I have wavied the venue fee. If your name is not on that list then u must pay the $10 registration fee… As for as the PPP/KKK I will let the people decide on that one…
People that will be running each tournament are as followed:
MvC2 ----Johnny 5
Smash Brother---- Lee (defending samsh brother champ)
SC4----Dakota
3s----- Myself
Sf4—Anthony
The official ruleset for Evo is that they allow the ppp/kkk macro.
I understand the keyboard problem, most new keyboards don’t allow more than three simultaneous key presses at a time. If you can take a few heads out with keyboard, it’d be great to see.
Everyone is making too big a deal out of the entry fee removal. It’s costing Pat a lot of bread to run this tourney. I plan on personally paying the $10 or maybe more regardless of the fact that my fee is being waived. This is a pretty awesome thing Pat is doing.
