Okay heres a question for you LiSyaoran when I hit the reversal button how come only sometimes they fly into the wall for a juggle and other times nothing really happens?
If you press toward the opponent and Gachi, then you do a Gachi Drive. It is when they fly into the wall. If you just press Gachi without pressing toward, then you parry and suffer no hit or block stun. This allows you to attack immediately or Gachi again for attacks that hit multiple times. You can’t repetitively Gachi multi hit attacks it you Gachi drive though. There is High Gachi Drive and Low Gachi Drive. High Gachi Drive creates a wall bounce with more then usual juggle potential. Low Gachi Drive sends them to the wall and they spin for awhile. When you Gachi Drive you are open to new canceling and chaining opportunities that you would usually not have.
Okay that helps a ton I was wondering about that and I play a lot of SoulCalibur so I’d press forward sometimes like a GI in SC4 thats why they flew only sometimes. This is cool though so if you are good enough you could Gachi parry a whole combo then at the last hit Gachi + forward to send them flying.
Next question is there a tier list or is it pretty balanced?

The online is very smooth for this game. It hardly lags, and when it lags on me, it’s cuz I’m on wireless, but once I fix my connection, it’s smooth. So I would rate the online gameplay as relatively smooth.

On the fairness of the game… Hmm… I’d say its incredibly fair actually. All the characters are very different, and I think the dudes with higher HP get hit a little harder. Deathbringer seems a little over-powered at sometimes though. Even though he’s slow I don’t think his lack of speed balances his crazy power. I dunno, anyone else? Comments on the fairness?
Deathbringers Dash (Mainly when he’s powered up) is fast.
I think the game is fair, but there are some characters that could use alittle more stuff power (by power I mean more to make them bump up alittle on the tier list) like Olivia and Freed.
People keep on telling me the Cedric is over powered, but I have yet to see a good match where Cedric is in total control.
Yeah I hear a lot of Cedric-Is-God talk too… All I know is that drop kick he has does A LOT of damage and bounces you incredibly nicely off the wall.

I my opinion, here’s the Reason why Cedric is top…
His Charge Drop Kick owns all, and I mean OWNS ALL!!! That move is broken. I’m a Marco player, and when i fought Cedric, it was the most annoying thing ever!! If you block the Drop Kick, then he can throw you almost instantly afterwards. If I try to shoryuken after it, I GET COUNTER HIT CUZ OF THE CRAZY GAURD STUN IT HAS! =( , AND it’s way too fast to try and Gachi it off of reaction, you’ll have to anticipate it, but if you miss you get blown into the wall, bounce back and suffer a super right in the face.
Ok, then there’s his counter Super which counters ALL ATTACKS except throws and projectile. So wake up super = counter, shoryuken = counter, trying do anything basically = counter, but if the player is good, he won’t do it all the time, just at the right times, and that’s annoying. And to make matters worse, after the super animation, GUESS WHAT?!! ANOTHER CHARGE DROP KICK TO THE FACE, wall bounce, random combo, and that alone is like 60% damage.
I don’t even wanna get started on his heat up. So yeah =( Cedric owns all

Just throw the counter and quick waking up with SRK all the time. As far as the drop kick goes, no one gets an advantage for of it. Just tech the throw =/
