So this is Ezra Miller.
I’m crying. Especially after enjoying this week’s The Flash episode.
This movie sounds like garbage the more I hear about it. Jimmy Olsen losing his legs is about as hackneyed and ridiculous as it gets. Please, DC, stop trying to make Superman and his supporting cast edgy or dramatic, it only angers the fans who actually like the character. At least Marvel understands WHY people like their characters and makes their movies around that.
no, it was a depiction of children just trying to out punch the other one, and pew pew laser shit up. Superman didn’t try to save one person who wasn’t Lois Lane. Dodging fucking tanker trucks full of oil, so they can blow up more innocent people. God’s wouldn’t be all offence.
I’m fucking dying over legless Jimmy Olsen. Man of Steel. Crippler of Olsen.
Waiting on Morpheus to show up with an eyepatch he got from a rusty nail, and become Nick Fury 2.0.
I like Man of Steel, but there are NO legit excuse for what Superman did.
He confronts Zod at the barn where there’s far less people around, and FLIES this dude straight to the populated city of Metropolis
It’s not like Superman punched Zod and he happened to fly into the city, he DRAGGED Zod there
That stupidity aside, I loved the movie and don’t see why people shit on it so much. Superman HAS killed people before, he’s more likely to kill than Batman despite his boyscout label
Um, Zod was already in Metropolis for the final fight. Supes had to fly to him in order to save Lois after Stabler blew up the other World Engine. That shit in Smallville was just fucking stupid though… He punches this nigga Zod into the middle of town where all the bystanders are instead of just boxing him on all that empty farmland IN FUCKING KANSAS.
As for why he didn’t just take the final fight out over the ocean or into space, simple… Bad writing and Snyder’s fetish for destruction porn.
“Hey Ben, have you been working out?” LOL!!!

I never really had too much of an issue with the fight being in Metropolis. Supes was battling Doomsday all over Metropolis in the comics (as well as PLENTY of other villains), but at least he tried his best to try to keep Doomsday away from populated area’s.
My issues were with him pretty much erasing downtown Smallville, zero concern for human life that he didn’t want to put his dick into (him dodging a tanker full of gas, just so it can blow up and take down a skyscraper, was the highlight of this), and willingness to just punch dudes through whatever got in his way. Superman wasn’t Superman in this movie, he was the fucking Hulk, with flight and heat vision.
Didn’t he kiss/make-out with Lois in the middle of a destroyed Metropolis? Maybe I’m getting something mixed-up, but I thought that’s what happened.
I mean if I’m wrong and that didn’t happened? Then never-mind. But if he did? Then he somehow found the time to have a little lovey-dovey moment instead of helping suffering citizens trapped in rubble and debris. Give Lois a little tongue-action instead of further acknowledging how much destruction him and the other Kryptonians caused in the heat of battle.
Batman v. Superman can still address all of these things ofc, but Man of Steel sets a difficult goal for how the sequel is supposed to properly establish a bigger universe and deal with Superman’s character flaws all in one movie.
yes, he did do this.
Apparently when WB said they wanted a dark, jokeless, movie, they really meant they want lots of people to die, and for all superheroes to be brooding assholes.
Also the priest scene… Superman coulda have chilled out with his holo dad and learned how to defeat Zod cleanly, instead had an awkward moment with some chump who was shiting himself.
Batman is gonna ruin Supes in this movie, real talk, a no joking seasoned Batman is gonna fuck this guy up free.
Nope. DC is dropping the ball. They need to integrate. It part of what has made MArvel do so well - consistency.

marvel made me want to watch the next movie they do, or TV series, so I could guess at what was on the way. DC gives you no end credit scenes, and all their franchises have no relation to each other.
Hey guys, let’s start making justice league movies. And then, we will start a new flash show, and movie, and they are entirely separate things. Oh, and we may as well ignore the good characters already developed, too. Let’s just recast or ALTOGETHER DROP THEM.
I really can’t stress how much I want DC to fail, for bungling this, every step of the way
I’ll say what I said earlier. DC has no faith in its own projects at all. They bring all these extra projects out, even before Marvel, but with none of the goodwill or the confidence that comes with it.
Compare that to Marvel who are now bringing out Captain Marvel and the Inhumans (though to be fair the Inhumans might just be to replace the void of X-Men, but still) and can generally do whatever the hell they want. They have that kind of confidence right now in their movies.
It depends if Marvel’s reason for Inhumans is simply to introduce the Inhuman race on the movies, or to actually use and give a role to the Royal Inhuman family, which are the most prominent characters. I would go for the latter.
Why would they replace the X-Men for the Inhumans? They don’t need too many powered people since the movies are usually 1 or 2 villains and they have a big catalogue to pick from, most of them with no mutant origin, second, no matter if they replace the X-Men with Inhumans they still won’t have the rights for the X-Men characters, they would have to create new original characters, the only reason I can think of would be if they want to propose a spinoff TV show or something.
I’m not saying that they don’t have use for the Royal Inhumans. Of course they do.
What I’m saying is, calling certain superpowered people Inhumans will spare them the issue of basically saying “Mutant…but not a mutant as we can’t say as such”.
The Injustice game’s movie cutscenes/storylines are pretty good
wouldn’t it make more sense for the actors/ and actresses of The Flash and Arrow to be in the Batman/Superman movies instead reccasting new people to play the characters?
One of the few casting choices that would actually make sense.
Good. Fucking. News.
Yea after spending $100 million on acting classes for Afleck I dont think they can really afford to do the same for Rock. Well heres to a glimmer of hope for jusice league when all the DoJ hatred dies down…lol.
