Bryan Cranston would have been perfect as Luthor but the studio wanted to skew to the younger crowd. (H)Eisenerg is a good actor though. I’ve hated every film he’s done but I think he might be able to pull it off.
i don’t even see the problem with Ben Affleck as Batman, his horrible movies are from >10 years ago, he looks great as Batman, and now he’s a legit actor and director.
the real problem imo is Wonder Woman, you got a skinny lady with a little bit of acting experience as Wonder Woman - the biggest female superhero of all time? GTFO!

LOL I forgot Wonder Woman is meant to be in this as well, my only concern is the actress doesn’t want to put on the weight to make her look like an athlete. Media then turned this into some bizarre skinny shaming scandal completely missing the point as to why Superman looks the way he does and not like Jonah Hill or Mick Jagger.

Well when I brought up golden age WW it what to dispel this notion that she was always a rough looking body builder type when in reality she was always just a athletic version of lois.
It’s just… Batman vs. Superman is really Man of Steel 2, right? Well, within the gritty, quarter-realistic world MOS established, how will Wonder Woman be introduced in a way that doesn’t require some setup? She can’t just pop up on the screen and be like “I’m superpowered too”. There has to be a little time introducing her. Unless she’s going to BECOME Wonder Woman during this movie. Can they do that, considering a fair amount of their screen time is probably going to Batman?
Since they have the entire god damned Justice League in this movie I see it being everyone but Batman and Superman having like 1-5 minutes just rushing through their origin and popping up to say hi.

A demand for something doesn’t immediately make it a viable commerical success. The demand has mainly come from a subsection of Wonderwoman fans who don’t even support her comics yet want a movie. You can’t go from point A to Z unless your willing to take a risk and I don’t blame DC for not gambling in this regard.
Also the reasoning why YJ was marketed towards boys is because boys buy merchandizing far more frequently. Corporations only care about the bottom line and are purely driven by capitalism. Contrary to popular belief big companies are not public chairities whom defer all their business decisions to spectator opinion.
Any reason why a 200M movie can’t have a Wonder Woman with a body like this at least?

That sounds simple and easy, id watch it, but they wont do it because hollywood HAS to always portray women a certain way, they dont want to deal with the inevitable feminist cries, and women dont really like each other, so as a demographic they will not even be the main ones to show up in droves to watch it in support of a almost all female cast of women kicking ass.
Yeah, thats what i said early on too. I think they would rather go the pretty, twigly, brunette route because women do not find that attractive really, or identify with that body type, and they wanna play it safe with a woman that women can identify with. Only men appreciate that type of beauty above, while most women just feel threatened, as their weak, soft asses, wobble around hating on one another. A man enjoys, and respects the hardwork those women put in to be heatlhy and fine, while a girl would just be in the movie theater like, “ew, why is wonder woman so muscular, thats gross. Do guys like that. Do you like that (talking to her date)?. Shes suppose to be a girl, not a guy.”
