It’s true that Walt wasn’t as dangerous as “legend” would suggest. Still, the point is we’ve seen Walt (and by extension Cranston) be manipulative, arrogant, imposing, and downright scary at times. It’s not how much he pulled those traits off, just that he pulled them off so well. Translating him to Luthor would work, because he can pull off that aura. He would just be doing it more, and have real actions to back it up.
Kind of on that note, it’s crazy that this fan-made trailer predicted Jeremy Irons as Alfred:
am i the only one completely unphazed by all of this news. lol. well not completely, but im not in angst at all. maybe i just have no emotion towards the DC universe. lol. outside of puny wonder woman, im not really up in arms about much. well, puny wonder woman does actually kind of grate my nerves. i just wish this movie was coming out the end of this year.
the only possible chance at a fun comic movie this year seems to maybe be guardians of the galaxy, but i havent seen a trailer yet, shockingly. xmen is gonna be hot trash. spiderman 2 will have some really cool moments, but i think it will still unecessarily fall short of being great.
One of the coolest things about The Wire that nobody ever talks about is the direction. It’s the most sober, even-handed, least-showy direction you’re going to see in a modern crime show. They shoot and cut the really big moments almost exactly the same as the quiet conversational stuff, but it’s never bland or flat… just dispassionate.
To go all movie nerd on it, it’s what would happen if Eric Rohmer or Robert Bresson directed a crime show.
Hey, say whatever makes you feel better about ***YOURSELF ***big guy. Anyways glad I can help, hope that gets you through another day without committing suicide.
what’s with niggas here talking about Luthor’s hair? lol has no one really read ANY supes comic? dunno about silver age and before (also assuming very very few here have read those) but starting 80s (Byrne/Ordway) Luthor did have hair and yes it was red. Now more posts about how terrible the casting is, that’s the only joy I’ll get out of this franchise
At this point am more concerned that WW is a extant species of kryptonian rather than a product of the old gods. I mean one of the richest dudes on earth having hair all of a sudden is defo a lesser evil than say, changing one of DCs biggests characters entire backstory.
