Max is awesome, and obviously the real leading lady of the show, but you don’t even have to be that smart. It’s like nobody in the DCU ever thinks about dusting off that part of their brain that knows how to play Clue.
Affleck wouldn’t feel awkward in that situation.
you know him and matt spooned alot.
Flash point movie would be great but would be too costly. Flash stand alone film is a big risk that most producers aren’t willing to go through with. They’d rather pump out a batman film each year than dare gamble with an unproven Barry Allen or wally west
True, but I’m sure there might’ve been a few cops and investigative reporters who figured out Batman’s identity. They probably just chose to keep their mouths shut in spite of the initial recognition or fame. I mean would you want to be the reason your city’s protector/savoir is no longer around to keep everyone safe?
I’d like to think anybody smart enough to deduce Batman’s real identity is smart enough to realize he’s the only thing keeping criminals and grade-A psychos in check. Even if there’s a ransom or reward for whoever that figures it out, there’s no guarantee that whatever criminal will actually pay-up or even let that same person live.
Yeah, that’s the most rational explanation: don’t look a gift horse in the mouth.
I heard that Hugh Jackman is the latest addition to this movie…
No, it does not.

I’m watching the new All-star Superman movie and it stinks.
Delayed Superman movies. The tradition continues.
maybe gal can use this time to put some muscle on that tiny ass frame of hers.
WB made a wise decision, it’d be dangerous to go up against Age of Ultron. If they’re gonna do a multi-hero movie right for the first time, they have to make it count (creatively and financially).
I had no idea. I’ve never even heard of it. Either way, it’s awful.
I’d recommend Superman Apocalypse for recent animated superman stories. The All-Star book is a lot better its already in graphic novel format cop it and enjoy it. It’s still an awesome story none the less. It’s supposed to mirror the 12 labors of Hercules which is why I think the book holds up a lot better it has more of a mythological vibe to it. I feel the most important thing to take from the arc is that you cant possibly be smarter than Superman.
The Nerfed 52 Superman has started to bring a bit of that back using his powers in cohesion with his intelligence. My favorite bit from New 52 was when Lois had a piece of shrapnel stuck in her. She had 30 minutes to live and the procedure would have taken 3 hours, Superman goes and reads every medical text ever published in under 10 minutes and performs the operation himself in time to save her.

I haven’t really liked any of the direct-to-video Superman movies so far. The DCAU guys have done better by Wonder Woman, and much better by Batman with their superb adaptation of DKR. The All Star Superman movie isn’t much on its own, but it’s worthy as a companion piece to the original comic series.
So far, Superman: The Animated Series is still the best animated Superman you’re going to get, especially the three-part opener (it is basically the first Superman animated movie in itself), the Lobo episodes, and season 3 with its Apokolips arc.
Yeh watch the DKR animated movies, those are solid. All Star is horrendous and contradicts a few established things, only good thing about it was Lex IMO.
One from the top of my head, I thought it was establish that Superman could father children from a human female? In All Star he says it’s impossible.
I’ve only ever watched the Ryan Reynolds Green Lantern so I can’t judge any of the cartoon material I haven’t had the displeasure of seeing. I’d still say I got more enjoyment from the GL movie than from All Star Superman (ASS), that movie at least had some direction, and not a tonne of pointless filler that was a complete derailment from the main story.
