According to the movie’s editor the original cut of the film was 4 hours long. There were MORE subplots than what the final cut ended up with.

Finally watched this last night.
I lost count of how many times I chuckled in disbelief or said “what!?” out loud.
Normally I would elaborate, but with this movie it would pretty much be like beating a dead horse at this point.

See, unless its shit. I wanna see that full 4 hour cut. lol. Look, ive sat through fucking all the lord of the rings, and hobbit movies. I can sit through a long bvs flick. Not in theater, no. At home, yes. A 3+ hour bvs movie wont be the same like watching an epic fantasy film like lotr or hobbit. I mean, its probably not abnormal for a 2 and a half hour movie to get 4 hours of footage to cut down from. Just curious if we missed any gems, or was it just shit no one gave a shit about anyways.
I’m interested in the 4 hour cut myself. Just to know if the 90 minutes they cut would turn it into a completely different movie like the director’s cut of Daredevil.
Zack Synder is fine. What the movie needed was a NEW script! And a studio not insisting on cramming so much into one movie.
If bammas can stand in line for iPhones and Jordans then they can see the 4 hour cut of BVS.
If by fine you mean something that can’t normally be seen by the naked eye then yes.

Finally saw BvS. Felt like Snyder really wanted to make a Batman movie, and this was the best he could get. It was entertaining as an action movie though. But as a comic book fan, my wife saw my facial expressions throughout the entire movie.
Well Synder does have Watchmen under his belt, movie was nigh perfect and vastly superior to anything else filmed so far, hell it even suits his style of black on black. Actually maybe thats how he pulled it off…
