Batman/Superman movie announced for 2016

Don’t forget Amy Adams soapy cleavage

…mmmmhmmm

It’s gonna have a longer run time than Malcolm X…

Wait do the BvS BDs go on pre order in July or on sale?

They want you to buy both.

Isn’t his name Jimmy, by any chance?

It’s been happening to me too. I talk about the flaws about the movie to my co-workers and first thing they do is attack Marvel. This morning one of them dismissed my reasoning on why Lex sucks because I like Iron Man 3.

It feels good winning an argument without actually having one doesnt it?

Looks like Rock was right about the movie lacking staying power

Valid argument imo.

I told my friend I thought BvS went above my initial prediction and I gave it a 5.5/10.

He said “I can’t take your ratings seriously because you think Civil War is gonna be better. I mean what’s the big deal about Spiderman being in that crap movie?”

This fool was more hype when WW was revealed than when Spidey showed up.

Its as if instead of after credit scenes they took them all and tried to fit them into the movie.

Now this…

THAT WOULD’VE BEEN BETTER SEND OFF for Lex, instead of that “DING!! DING!!” Bull-ASS-SHIT!!

Because some studios are smart enough to realize that a movie that lasts more than 2 hours*(especially one with no real substance)* starts to wear on the viewer.

I’ve watched 2-3 hour movies that felt like they went by too quick, and ones that barely clock in at 1:40 that felt like they went on forever… It’s all about the editing and pacing of the script, and how entertained you can keep the audience.

It must be nice to be hype…about throws up WW in BvS and not Civil War throws up again

haven’t watched the movie yet
but this is wonder woman right?
ye XD

In a thread I’ve heard the idea that it might actually be Yuga Khan, which to me makes better sense character design-wise.

Batfleck is godlike

28%…goddamn, Rotten Tomatoes is fist fucking this movie with no mercy

It is being almost universally panned, basically the only defenders it has are diehard DC fans and a small segment of the Transformers crowd.

Okay finally saw it:

It’s watchable, but it’s apparent they’re trying to catch up to the MCU without putting in the work as well as trying to ape classic DC stories without the finesse and care the stories originally had. Also, some really, really out of character moments.

Spoiler

First (hour? 2 hours) of the movie could be slimmed down immensely.

Batfleck and Alfred were gdlk. Its good they got alot of screentime, and like what alot of people said, makes me hopeful for any solo Batfleck movies.

I liked the superman montages.

Dialogue got repetitive, its one thing to say “OMG A JESUS ALLEGORY!” and another think to say ‘god’ every 15 minutes.

Dream sequences = stupid. If you’re gonna follow MCU’s footsteps, do an after credits scene, my god.

Speaking of dream sequences, why does flash look like a fuckin’ transformer/power ranger?

Too much killing. Out of character. Batman using guns. I’m surprised he even had a batarang(he threw one the entire movie?). Batman branding criminals? Batman may beat the fuck out of enemies, or scare the shit out of them, but where does this even come from? If anything, Batman would make sure whatever they were doing stopped, using his company’s resources/punishing the underworld.

Lois should’ve pushed Lex off the roof.

The scene where Superman BOWS to Lex is completely wrong. Superman would grab Lex, shake him up. I know his faith was shaken, but come on!

Why did batman put a tracking device on the kryptonite only to go in guns blazing, kill everyone, get stopped by superman, and NOT get the kryptonite. That seems like alot of effort if he was just going to go back in, LATER, steal it without any casualties.

Why doesn’t Batman listen to superman before their fight? I know Batman is stubborn but like, there was a HUGE UNNATURAL ELECTRICITY STORM(assuming they didn’t know about lex/doomsday) that the heroes should’ve investigated. Doesn’t make sense.

Lex’s plan was apparently just to wait for Superman to kill batman? He had no cameras, no spies or anything? This guy is really supposed to be a genius? And then he unleashes a monster that takes an entire city’s electricity, no plan other to have it kill Superman? That can’t possibly go wrong…

Doomsday looks like shit. Also, he got kryptonian powers? Kiss my ass…

It’s sort of explained why wonder woman is there but not doing anything, but if her explanation is to be accepted, why is she keeping tabs on Batman’s investigations? Why isn’t she just on fucking thymiscra?

I’m kind of sad Aquaman looks so badass and will probably fit the character well if Justice league is gonna be a trainwreck.

Lex technically works as a villain. Technically. I wish he had less screentime.

I think wonder woman was good, but honestly I thought she was some sort of cat-woman/sleeper-agent-for-Waller-or-whatever-the-DC-equivalent-of-SHIELD-is until the big reveal/constant screentime.

Having superman die when we know Justice league is coming up? At least have him die “publicly”, that’s the oldest trick in the book.

The “HEY THIS IS IN 3D” moments were very obvious(doomsday fight) - I didn’t see the 3D version but its annoying when that happens, cuz they’re just trying to check a checkbox
