Bruce was in Metropolis when Superman had his fight with Zod. He witness the city getting destroyed first hand. He also believes Superman will go bad because absolute power corrupts absolutely. That’s the impression the trailers gave me.
So what is Lex doing? He’s got to be manipulating one or both of them.
Funny considering every time Batman does get absolute power he goes mad with that shit almost immediately.
But don’t the writters often make him say that if he had supermans powers he’d lose it? Or something along those lines.

For the people asking why Batman wasn’t sent flying from Superman’s punch. Maybe it has something to do with Batman’s super suit? He’s not just a normal nigga blocking a punch. He has on a mechanized super suit. Like, come the fuck on, now.
Think about it like this, right? How slow as molasses does Supes have to be for Batman to catch his punch. It’s a catch 22. On one hand, you admit that Superman is slow that Batman can react to it or Batman is so beastly that he’s fast enough to react to a super speed powered punch from Superman.

The BP arm bar on SS is without a doubt one of the worst writing mistakes I’ve seen in comics.
Yeah after reading about it I realized he did it to trick BP into talking about…something.
Seems weird that BP would be dumb enough to think that would work though. I mean Surfer can go toe to toe with the Hulk.
