The martial arts "science"being used here doesn’t apply at all given superman isn’t just a little bit more physically powerful then batman. We are talking about a character with enough physical strength to carry the weight of the earth for several days without being terribly trained. The same guy who’s punches can destroy small planetoids when holding back. This is also the same guy who’s fast enough to travel between planets within minutes and who can do speedster tricks like the flash. The only way batman could block a punch by superman is for the same reason batman isn’t killed 0.001 seconds anytime they fight in the comics, plot armor.
A full on trailer with Batman fighting Superman was ok. The first fight scene was nice but everything else was between “eh” and laughable.
I got more hype off the Civil War superbowl ad.

Well I suppose the only thing that could explain how batman could block superman’s punch is that this version of superman is incredibly weak. We are working under the assumption that superman is operating under his comic power set but clearly this isn’t the case. He is far weaker then his source material as evident in man of steel. If I had to guess, he’s probably even weaker then his Bruce timm counterpart. I suppose going by the feats we have seen of superman in this universe it’s possible batman could have a suit strong enough to block his punch.
Superman is weak cause all these last DC movies are scared to show the sun.

That batsuit doesnt replicate the powers of superman. Which even batman couldnt know at this point in the superman timeline. Not to mention he wouldnt have access to the tech that could create that type of suit yet, because it would be unearthly, and to my knowledge, all of the tech from humans to face aliens on a strength vs strength level has always been otherworldly.
Batman usually finds his way to take on clark from assistance by kryptonite, not his suits. There is no version of superman short of some shit from like 6 decades ago or more that could be defeated by batman. Even a powered down, new 52 superman could destroy earth in miliseconds.
Thor is purposefully toned down in the marvel films since jump, and they can do that because while thor is recognizable, his feats of strength are only more known to avid comic readers. Superman, even for the run of the mill schlub is known as an unstoppable god force, and he didnt so much as mess up his hair in man of steel, while he destroyed a city fighting zod.
Maxx’s basic physics only goes but so far. We’re talking about superman, a guy who could destroy the moon just because hes having a bad day.
Yeah, the reality of starks ironman suit is all nonsense to start. Him flying at mach 2, and doing what he does in the air would murder his body, figuratively speaking, and literally. The iron man suit is a nonsense design, but its awesome for comics and sci fi shit in general. You just have to suspend disbelief while watching it in action, which isnt hard to do, hes such an awesome character to watch in action.
