thats what i think too but probably wont happen. thats AWESOME that u and deep got $20 on this. we may be able to get new 360’s. spread the word… cause if more people wanna pitch in, then everyone can pitch in less. i was gunna get all the gear with no problem, but its not about me… its about brandons gear (no homo) and havin decent equipment for EvO CenCal!!!
either way, if its just the 3 or 4 of us pitching in (metrock too…our in-house technician) ill get with u guys and we can decide when we wanna get it… we’ll need enough time for jason to get it all put together too!

I’m down to pitch in, I think we should all consider all the times we’ve used brandon’s gear and 20 bucks is really nothing considering how much we’ve used them. I’m really excited about Evo Cencal and all the possible names that might come.
And about “the best ones,” let me say that I’m flattered, but today someone made a comment that made a lot of sense. We’re a marvel community, and we all pretty much know eachother’s styles. I’m glad to say that we have fighting styles that range from santhrax, to msp, to rowtron to ironman and spiral. We are growing, I mean when I first came at the begining of the summer I saw people that I’ve never seen before barely start playing the game and are now skilled to a consideable extent (talking about the kid who plays ironman at 3d, not stridermike nor mikeclops, but curly hair kid).
I mean, some people would come here and there (killakelly) a couple of years ago and it was cool and all, but now we get the chance to host a tournament where big names might make a stop. Personally I’m fortunate to be in “Team Bako,” but that doesn’t mean that we as a community don’t deserve the credit as a whole. We’ve all contributed to this growth to some extent (some may have more than others in creating stands coughjasoncough, hosting tournaments and recently and leting his gear be used coughbrandoncough, as well as many others).
We all contribute to the excitement in one way or another. Now that we get this “big break” like tony said it would be cool if we all show support for bakersfield, even if is not for “team bako” for “financial reasons” but just bako in general. Props to everyone that has contributed to puting this thing together and who will show up to play.

I also Agree w/Tony and Abe about making name for Bako and this will be a great way to do that.
In my opinion I think we should have the tourny around month of December because it will be easy for the people that have school to show up but, rest is up to Jason who will be hosting it.

ok. so i’m bored at work and i read all the drama, lol. here’s my opion:
if team bako wants to get hella boss in marvel, then everyone should listen to Tony and Jason’s tips+adivce they give you. they’re easily your best players. they may not be super TOP-Players, but they’re still better than you.
try to achieve the level of play they’re on first. don’t get butt hurt 'cause Sentinel is flying back. that shit happens everywhere. so put it this way:
drive hours to another place, maybe once or twice a week, only to fight more runaway Sentinels, or play the ones that are already giving you problems ALOT MORE (since they’re in your area) and learn quicker.
what’s the use of going hella out the way to play more runaway sentinels, when you can’t beat the ones in your own city? sounds like people are just getting butt hurt over losing in general and would rather just lose to a more bigger named person, doing the same shit as the people in your own city.
