As an owner of the iPhone 6 and Note 5, Note 5 is far superior and a lot more useful IMO.
But to solve the error 53 just don’t use Touch ID. Luckily for me I have a 0.33m tempered glass on both my phones so I’m fine
It’s not just that. If the fingerprint scanner is broken or replaced, and you update your iphone 6, it will get bricked.
I imagine your phone would have to be pretty old or you’d have to be really abusive to have the home button fail. Most people don’t take care of their shit. I’m amazed seeing people leave a $700 phone (oh wait they got it for “free” :looney: ) on a bar while they go do something else, drop them, throw them, etc.
Apple gets shit on left and right for security stuff. They’re damned if they do, damned if they don’t. Remember The Fappening (which wasn’t even their fault, the hackers guessed the celebrities weak-ass passwords) and when they found the phone would keep a cache of location data to make your wait times for directions shorter? Nerds and “privacy” minded people publicly hyperventilated over those. But now when they try to be serious about it, they get shit on.
Which isn’t to say that this is a good way to handle it, but there’s a lot of sensitive data that can be accessed via the Touch ID.
My wife had a iphone 4s and that I got pretty sick of it constantly trying to autosync and getting bricked every time a new software update came out. It wasn’t even that old of a phone, so I moved her over to droid and she’s been pretty happy since. I still have a blackberry 10 phone, but it serves my purposes and I like that BB updates tend to improve performance and never brick devices. My blackberry 7 device actually still works, it’s just not compatible with many iphone features so it started to cause real headaches at work.
Sounds like Touch ID was a bad idea from the jump.
