cam anyone rip the non match parts of the B series dvd and host it? how much of a problem would it be(non match)?
i have the summers end on vhs.
Whoa, are there still copies of the B5 DVD actually available (meaning, if I order through the link on the SRK B5 page will I actually receive the goods)? I ask because the B5 entry form is up as well, but you obviously can’t enter the tournament…and I’m not sure how often these pages are updated.
If so, I’ll definitely get one of these gems as I don’t have one yet.
I’ve got the summers end vcds here still
No need for the trailer. I have disk 1, 2, and 3, which I got from Direct Connect, but I just wanted the whole collection.
It looks like I’m going to pick up the entire SVCD set. If possible I’m going to rip the entire collection and turn the footage into a proper DVD rather than this five disc stuff that’s floating around.
Back on topic though; what’s the deal with the lack of production value in the B5 on to the EVO sets? Was there a person and/or persons that oversaw B5 that wasn’t around for the EVO production?
Nagata Lock II: maybe you already know this but… B4 tapes had kinda the same style of the B5 “nice toutch”, I have a few videos from B4 and they even made a nice presentation (I was trying toupload some pics from those videos but I cant attach any files… and I dont know why because each pic that I have are in jpeg format and in very small size)
One thing about B4 that maybe some people know but its kinda confusing for me:
I have some of the videos from B4 and theres this vid were its “fight for 3rd” and when they show the names (Choi vs Alex Valle) they added that same title below the names saying: “fight for 3rd” so… this means that who loses this match will get 4th place in the the tournament and who wins will get 3rd place, right? so… if thats the case then why they made the places of SSF2T like this? --> http://www.shoryuken.com/b4
Or the tape video that they maybe got a type error because they added into the title of that video: “fight for 3rd” or the places in the site could be wrong?
maybe the vid that I got has a type error when they made the video edit (Im sure should be that)
… theres a NEC and ECC DVD? where?
Wow,
I just tried to purchase a copy of B5. I hope it goes through…
They were originally sold by Light Circle Productions (Nibor and SomeSpideyPlayer) but I think they both gave up on making DVD’s (too bad, ECC8 was such a fantastic effort and “The East Coast View” had so much potential). You’ll probably have to track down either of them to see if they have spare copies or get another copy from someone else.
Does that work? Is there anybody on here that can vouch for the order? Cause if it works ill be ordering me one quick.

It should work, but if you want to make sure at 100% then try to contact anyone from the srk staff.
Lucky for you most of that match was in Seth’s footage.
i found it funny that they used that as an “evo moment”, and trying to sell the DVD with the clip, but it’s not even on the dvd.
the daigo vs wong clip isnt on the Evo 2k4 dvd? are you freakin serious?
I believe he’s referring to the clip that was shown in the “Evolution Moment #31” clip. The actual footage is still on the DVD but it’s direct feed so there’s no insane crowd reaction like in the trailer.
I find crowd noise annoying a lot of the times.

Keep up the good work SRK.
Don’t buy the B5 dvd. I remember them not having no more B5 dvd’s. The B5 dvd was made custom and not bu a company. But then again they could burn you one on a blank dvd. But i don’t think you’ll get the cover case.
It had a cover case? Mine was just the double sided DVD with a purple ring in the middle that shows what side is which. (and that one was wrong too btw)
