B15SDM DESIGNS CUSTOM ARCADE STICKS- see my second post

crap i just need a prototype

You do know what prototype means correct??

beta before final product
o_O

Correctamundo!

Prototypes usually cost more than the final product.

WHAT THE CHEAPEST STAGE PRE_LIFE??!?!?!??!!

If you’re looking for something cheap, might I suggest a madcatz TE? I believe they’re gonna be running a sale during ComiCon. Then order a replacement plexi and art printing from Tek Innovations.

Or build your own: for a wooden square, a JLF, and 6 Sanwa buttons shipped you’re looking at under $50. Rip a PCB out a controller you’ve got lying around (or order a paewang), a little solder, and you’re good to go. Even ordering everything, you’re looking at under $100.

Further still! You could just order a Paewang Revolution and put Sanwas in it whenever down the line!

If you want something really nice and cutting edge (a prototype) you’ve gotta spend that paper. I’m trying to do something entirely new to my stick after some experimenting involving paints, lights, and mirrored foil. Sam’s clear case inspired the idea, so I’ve gotta pay the high price to do something innovative ON something innovative.

Sometimes you can DIY stuff out on the cheap, sometimes not.

I mean, I’ve got a project I’m trying to do that hybridizes sticks and stickless controllers. But since all the materials are readily available and the work isn’t highly technical it shouldn’t end up costing more than a couple hundred bucks to get a few finished. But they’re not gonna look pretty, or really be for public consumption. After the kinks are worked out (part of why prototypes are so expensive - redoing shit that doesn’t work right) they should cost MUCH less to make and maybe I’ll do a little run of 10 limited editions just for kicks - then leave it up to the ‘professionals’ to do up serious-like.

Seriously, just buy a TE. I’m not sure what makes you think he has ‘prototypes’ just sitting around like he wants to get rid of them. Have you seen his gallery? Aside from that acrylic stick he just sold he was past prototypes like a hundred sticks ago. If you’re looking for a bargain you’re definitely barking up the wrong tree.

i got ONe blazeblue continuum shift xbox 360 i modded the buttons and i have a brawl stick with modded buttons and i just orderd a sanwa joystick

yo abandonist thanks i might get the pawaeng whatever its called and mod it or i could get the blocks and stuff but where i get it i live in the states but where i live there really are any wood makers or carpernters

How do those all clear sticks hold up to heat. Especially the plexi covering? I live somewhere where it gets too hot all the time and I’ve had plexis warp and bend despite my best efforts to keep them cool. Do they hold up well to abuse?

I’m going to start setting aside some cash each month until I can get one of those clear sticks. They’re amazing.

B15, I left a message on your SRK profile page and sent you an email from your website inquiring about a custom Iron Fist stick. Please let me know if you can make one for me. I know you busy but could you email me and let me know how many sticks are in front of my request. Lets workout the details and cost and I will send you payment. Just want to get it on your to do list. Leave me a message or respond to my email I sent you. Thanks cdurant.

The full clear cases are made of solid acrylic and not thin layers glued together. Lexan tends to warp over time from heat as it is softer than vast acrylic. I am soo confident with te material that all future bespoke orders will be made of acrylic along with the usual steel panels.

Sorry for delay just been mega busy. Will email you shortly.

B15, thanks for the update I look forward to your email and working with you the creation of the stick. Thanks Aigatsol / cdurant

How much would a full custom shipped to the us cost me? I am looking around at stick buliders and trying to decided who to go with.

go to his website.

Always been a fan of plywood sticks. Love it! Hope it finds a home soon

Thanks man!

Another blank case for sale over in the trading outlet with a Hello Kitty theme.

This is a very small case with a 6 button Astro layout for the top and 30mm buttons for the side along with a 25mm hole for the Neutrik pass through.

I would say internally there is enough room to mount a Paewang pcb. Again, this has steel/plexi panels for top and bottom with screwless plexi for the top.

£120 + £25 delivery to the US and £10 to most of UK & Europe. Anywhere else please email me.
