I exicted for the AE DLC, maybe I’ll actually dust off my copy and play some. SFxT looks interesting but I’m somewhat on the fence about how some of the mechanics seem to play out but it has a fucking Dino Crisis stage so I’m leaning more towards a yes.
SFxT looks like the build is still a bit too early to be showing off. I figure I’ll reserve judgment until more info on it comes to light. I do like that Ono has said that he is looking to put some odd characters in the roster. I am placing bets on Poison. I also like that Ono has indicated that it is a pretty offense oriented game, but still has a good focus on footsie oriented play.
The fact that the DLC for AE is only $15 makes me laugh at all the haters. So many people on message boards crying about how it would be $20-60 bucks (heaven forbid) for months and now it turns out to be cheaper than most people expected. I think that was a good move on Capcom’s part.
SF4 still sucks.

hey everyone… I’m visiting Phoenix for business and will be here for a few days… are there any arcades with AE around here??? Where does everyone get together and play (please don’t say online)??? Thanks!
Hey, I believe that we now have two arcades with AE. The one that most people had been going to prior to MvC3 dropping was at Mesa Golfland. 50 cents for 2 credits makes it a decent place to play at. But there is only station, and the buttons tend to die a bit frequently, and they don’t get much attention from the maintenance at the place.
I haven’t been there yet, but Gameworks at Arizona Mills Mall now has two set ups from what I hear. But its a dollar a play.
And check with Hazem, AKA bazoka_egycrew for the local scene that people tend to gather at. Right now its mostly an MvC3 hub, but occasionally guys like me will try and bust out the SF.
If this is true, some of these changes are really good. Some are going to make some of you rage…

wow, if that is true and the patches do happen, im done with this game. Patches and balancing a game for people who whine when they cant win is fucking pathetic. People dont like xfactor or phoenix or sentinel or whatever they just need to stop playing or shut the fuck up about it…
on a side note SFvT is looking pretty cool. Im sure there will be some sorta footise game leading to a giant combo. Sounds interesting. My fingers are crossed for Law and Blanka…

No way that list is even close to real. Mainly because Capcom doesn’t even list changes after a patch let alone before. Also everything on that list has been bitched about by tons of butt hurt people and no way in hell are they going to nerf senitnel again without giving him some sort of a buff like speed. Also I’m very disappointed at the lack of mvc3 bnews from captivate.

Really really solid scene, tournaments lately every week (for actual prizes and money thanks to dev and euphoria).
We mainly play MVC3 right now, but can run just as good in SFIV.
If your looking for other games, we probably play it just the crowd doesn’t all post here.
thats good to hear! My main games for now are ST, MVC3, Tekken, and MK9 when it comes out. Me and my girlfriend will be taking a trip there for vaca and for a possible relocation.
