I’m really pleased to see that you can select the SSF4 or AE versions of the characters. I think that’ll make a lot of players happy and show make the game far more interesting (and balanced) from my point of view.
I’m also in favor of noob MvC3 sessions. Maybe I’ll actually start playing the game… if MK9 isn’t up to snuff.
EDIT: MK9 is supposedly hitting stores this Saturday. If anyone finds a place breaking street date, please post up.

my download speed is 25mbps and my upload is 8mbps. I got other people told me they have no problem while watching it. Donno what’s up with that though
The video is down (again) so I can’t get the exact quote, but after stating you can play VS. normal SSF4 or AE, it stated something along the lines of, “choose which version you prefer”. I can’t imagine Capcom is talking about choosing who you want to play online, so I’m assuming it means you actually select which version of the character you want to play as.
I agree that Super is pretty balanced, but I disagree with many of the changes made to AE. For example, I think Guile, Honda, Rose and Ryu were fine as they were, but I think the AE versions of Guy, Dan and Hakan are better than their Super counterparts. And I know Cammy players will be happy to have her Super variation since AE Cammy is almost like a new character.
Why don’t they give me the option of playing vanilla Sagat too.
Capcom Captivate started yesterday and ended today. I did not agree with their decision to put an embargo on details until NEXT WEEK. That’s just ridiculous. I’m glad the video got leaked and now we know for sure that it’s coming out and with some more impressive features. Now I’m just waiting for the full-blown details about whether or not the PC version is coming out. Ono did say he’d address that but he’s king troll so all I can do is wait.

I’ve been really surprised that the AE video is the only thing that has leaked. The Capcops seem to have kept this event air tight for the most part. I even heard a rumor that theey found out who Lupinko (the guy that leaked the marvel roster) is and banned his whole extended family from attending, that’s just rumor though.
