I have to admit that I am putting the combos together but have no idea how to approach an opponent. It seems like it is a lot more difficult to play this game for me than I initially assumed. So far, I am having a lot of fun making combos, but I am concerned that I really don’t know how to move around efficiently or when and if I should ever jump in etc.
I don’t give a shit about approaching. That’s why I’m playing Arthur!

Matchmaking is terrible. I take back the lag complaint tho. I just had consistent crappy connections at first. Good connections play really well. But yeah, matchmaking is the worst. There is no hosting option or anything. It just randomly hooks you up with someone else. The best way around this is use fight request mode in arcade or training. It will ensure 100% connect

the combos are ez to start uP! and I was talkin to some1 last night, think it was a girl, bout how in this one, I think capcom made it intentional to get an ez 10 hits, but the skill is gonna come in on 20+ hits with a character and finding ways to set those up with assist and utilizing OTG hits
Deadpools mission mode shows your and OTG katanarama hit that leads into his special quick work(not super)
haven’t tried using an assist AT ALL (b4, after, during) to get more hits and keep the grove alive

Word. its a whole new world of terms for me. I was figuring it was a crossup assist or something.
“Crossover assist” is just the official term for assist in this game. “Crossover combination” is the official term for THC, I think. “Crossover counter” is alpha counter too, maybe. They wanted to jam the word CROSSOVERRRRRR in there a lot so you really got into your head that MvC is a crossover series, I guess.
