On another note, since we have some techies here: I’m planning to move to a dual monitor setup. I have one 22" CRT now, but I want two 22" LCDs. NOT for gaming, but rather just to have two computer monitors, which will help with research articles on one screen and Word on another screen, multiple browser windows, etc. Any suggestions on a good setup that works well, has small physical overlap (thing sides so the screens seem to flow), etc. would be gladly appreciated. I have an 8800GT with two DVI ports out.
Hey, how do you guys pick teams in MVC3? I just realized that I don’t have a really cohesive team, they all are rushdown with low health and that can’t be good.

If you get the Kollector’s Edition, all three locations give you Ermac in addition to one of the three characters listed above.
I shit you not, i’ve been building them a bit like I use to build decks for TCG.
In this game, there is 3 fighters.
A, B, C fighters.
I would first figure out what is really good when only A + B exist,
What is good when B + C exist, and what is good when only A + C exist.
What about when ONLY A exist? B? C?
Then, What DISadvantages do you have when only A + B exist?
What disadvantages do you have when B + C exist, and what about A + C?
And what if only A exist? B? C?
If each of them have some synergy and can bring something good to the table and you feel that no X + X matchup is too bad of a disadvantage, you then proceed to the next step
What can A + B to do help C? What can B + C do to help A? What can C + A do to help B?
You need to consider that many tag team advantages won’t happen at various points in time. With constant switching and other things going on you have to know it seems like to me personally, what advantages and disadvantages you have at every given situation
If you like what you see so far, then you can maybe think about some bigger things, like what can A + B + C do if they are in that order and X situation comes up?
Your triple rush down team might be really good but situationally can one back another up? what if the situation calls for one to take a big of damage, do you have a char that can take the blow? You have to cover all your bases and choose people who compliment each other.
Think of it like a stat bar… you can put all your points in offense but your teams overall health and defenses will be pathetically low.
All in all thats how I’ve personally been analyzing teams… obviously some other things can come in play, i.e. if your really good you won’t be touch (Seth in SFIV), but if you want to play with a bit more health and intelligence like I know you do muji you will probably think it a bit over besides picking your team.
and of course, play what you like can come in to play. Why not have a tournament team and a casual team?

How about just play who you like and not worry about what kind of “best” team you’re going to have since the game barely came out? It’s gonna take a while for the best teams/assist characters to be discovered, so just play, discover on your own and let time take its course. MSP wasn’t discovered in a day ya know…
