My two cents. I wanna start this off by stating im not trying to attack anyone by no means.
Last night i went to Arush’s place hoping to play in a tournament. I am going to revelations, and Evo and i want to try to get as much competition and training in as i can. I knew that Arnul was hosting casuals that same night, but i figured it would be better for me to play in a tournament, so i don’t play with a casual mindset. I was really disappointed that only a few people decided to show up to this, And I’m not sure why. I dont know if Arnul made his friday casual the same time as the tournament on purpose or not, (like i said, im not trying to put anyone on blast here) But at least from the posting on SRK, Arush posted that he was having a tournament before Arnul posted about casuals at his place.
I think if someone is willing to go to the effort to hold a tournament then that should be respected. Also i know there are alot of people in the community that wanna get better. I honestly think the best way to level up your game is to play in tournaments, with at least some money on the line. casuals are great and fun, and i learned alot from playing some yesterday. But in a tournament i have one match to adapt to the person I’m playing against. What better way to learn how to adapt faster than playing in a tournament.
I just hope next week we see more people at Arush’s place so we can have a good showing and a good tournament.

If you want that tournament experience then you should be rolling to Haz’s place every Saturday, about casuals at my place on Friday I’ve been hosting since Super came out every Friday. Its not like I texted everyone to come play at my place and fuck Arush you know. But you scrubs missed out last night, it was a lot of fun and BEER bitches!
Arnul has had casual fridays since sf4 and possibly before that. It’s nothing new to the westside people.

Ok you guys know that I don’t get involved into the drama side here but I have to say something about this… Munchi maan it’s not like that at all u just been away for a while when u were busy but we have standard main gatherings through the week now for a while “Me, Arnul, Armando” and when ARush wanted to start hosting it’s so good for everyone for sure but he didn’t ask here Which day is cool with everyone. If u remember I had Tusedays then Fridays then Saturday and every time it got changed we made a vote here so there will be no wasted time to my side or you guys side but what Jacob did he just said am having tournament every Friday without asking who’s day is this and one more thing which am sure about. Majority of the gamers will save gas money from going anywhere on Friday to come to my place on Saturday for my shenanigans or will go to someone only cause they know them. Nothing personal with Jacob I love you bro but I know everyone enough now to know that not much people know you this much to come to ur spot instead of Arnul’s on Friday “Doesn’t mean that Arnul talks lots of shit that people will not go to his spot and go to urs” he is still a nice guys and a great host so u need to show up more to gatherings and get to know people so people will know u and come to ur spot and u need to make voting here for everyone to see what day is ok with u and them to show up otherwise it’s gonna be a waste of ur time and am saying this for ur own good bro.
Anyway it’s my kids birthday today and we r having a lil party thing with a bounce house from 1 till 6 so if u have kids and free at day time and donno what to do just swing by “No gifts needed just ur sexy booties and ur kids” will have hookah and some goodies.

Like what was stated before. arnul been doing shit friday nights for quite a while. I wasnt planning on going yesterday or even going to hazems tonight(still not sure about hazem’s tonight) because I had some very important things to do this weekend. Plans changed, I wasnt in the greatest mood, armando got a hold of me and asked if i wanted to carpool at the last minute. I made a quick decision and just went. I needed some alcohol to cool my nerves. My mental state was not in a good position to really play in a tourney. My stress level is already high enough, didnt need a tourney(or broke ass phoenix) stressing it out more. So I went to arnul’s. More laidback and chill, no worries. It got my mind off some serious bullshit that’s been bothering me lately and I got to have some fun.
It definitely was not a dick move. It wasnt intended to be.

I think that statement fits me more than anybody. I did say last Saturday at Haz’s that my Xbox broke and the only way for me to play/practice is to play in tourneys. I dunno, whatever. I was about ready to quit Marvel last night when I realized LAN Speed Games has a PS3 and they have Marvel, so it looks like I can get my lab back +online. Oh and I really need to stick to one team LOOOOOOOL my friend grilled me hard for that one hahaha
About Arush’s tourney I had already told him I might not be able to make it b/c this happens to be bill week. I’m literally down to $4, haven’t been this low in a long time. Arnuls is down the street from my place (11min walk) so that was a no brainer.
like i stating in my post. i wasn’t pointing the finger at anyone, or sayin that arnul did this on purpose. All i stated was that i feel that a tournament would have been a better thing to do, and more benefical to the players. it has nothing to do with any indivuals at all. I understand where Haz is coming from where arush should try to find a day that works with everyone. Hopefully that can be arragned. I see it as the more oppurtunities we have to play the better.
