My TE had a similar issue, home/start/LR/LT would stop working then eventually the whole thing went out, sent it back to madcatz and they replaced the pcp. Depending on how old it is they will warranty it even past the 1 year period, was actually a good experience dealing with the warranty department

I just attempted to fix my stick. I got the buttons to work again, but now my Xbox home button doesn’t work. It works if I hold it down but if I just press it it never comes up regardless of lock or not. My joystick was only registering down or left, never down left. I wiggled the cable and got it register fine again… must of been loose connector.
My top cable is completely fucked even with electrical tape though… don’t know how long this stick is gonna last.
and in other news my landlord wants to charge me late fees because my bank decided to randomly select me to have my check screened and held for verification
