Punker: thats good to know. I didnt try player match at all. The other mode is just nice tho. List of hella players to pick from, its so awesome. I hope you are right and player/ranked holds up better.

Every single match type in MK9 is unplayable online. Some are better than others but they all suck.

King of the Hill: Visually laggy, plus input delay
1v1 Player or Ranked: Visually smooth, but still significant input delay

No matter who I play or in what mode, I can’t do ANY combos that require a dash cancel. I just stick with a launcher into special and leave it at that. I can also only punish unsafe specials, anything else that should be unsafe or at least negative, they end up with frame advantage.

It wasn’t dan’s fault he chose the wrong assist. It wasn’t the tournaments fault either, it was Seans. At that point you just keep playing and beat yourself up about it later. While I will probably say that I am sure sean did not mean to pause it because his two characters were getting raped, that was just an unfortunate circumstance for dan. Regardless it shouldn’t have mattered because it was definitely victory to dan.

Personally, I would put my money on Sean winning a FT10 against dan, but I know dan is a huge momentum player and it’s not fair to say he got blown up afterwards because some players can really break down after they miss something or some bs happens, especially outside of their control. I know I do.

See my only thing is: say Sean had picked the right assist. How much of a difference would it have made in that particular match? Chris’s positioning woulda been more or less the same, ending in both characters still caught up in rape. Point character and assist didnt get caught up due to wrong assist, just timing.

As for the FT10 I’ll take that bet Armando =]

Ya mk single player modes sets the bar. I love the online modes, but the online play is disappointingly bad. Especially when they have been claiming for months that there is no lag and how the entire game was built from the ground up, around the netcode. PR bullshit as usual I guess.
