Definitely the attitude I have going in. My ideal goal is to win a game in one of my matches, but I’ll be happy if I can win a round. I’m really excited to meet new people and see top players in a live setting. Participating is just a bonus.

So who is playing Dark Souls? what class did you all pick? I started with Pyromancer and after getting faith to 11 im focusing on str/dex/int game is pretty good once you get around the odd controls and attack mechanics.

Started as Bandit. Took a good 2-3 hours on constant dying to get back into the groove. Just beat the Bell Gargoyles.

This will be my first major and I have been cooking up some new setups for my DeeJay. Hopefully I’ll have a good showing, I’m looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow (if you are there). Hopefully I’ll be able to meet up with you guys at the event.

Well I went 0-2 (1-2 if you count the disqualification my opponent got that pushed me to the second round of the losers bracket). Lost my first match against a Dee Jay, and my second match was against Noel Brown and his Vega. Unfortunately I didn’t reach my goal of taking at least one round, but it was still a great time.

I did sit down with Tsumuji completely by accident, and it turned into quite the learning session. Many thanks to him for helping me keep my head on straight and step up my game as much as I could in 15 minutes or so. He even coached me during my first match of the day, and I honestly don’t think I would have done as well as I did without that quick training session.

It was great seeing all the old faces. I went 5-2 in SFAE. I was happy to do so well, but I was pretty salty that I lost twice to the same person. Happy Medicine’s Dictator whooped my ass. Even so, I had a load of fun, as did Chris (MadDogHoek). I was 5-1 in the RPS contest, but I had to get home to the wifey and baby. They prob DQ’d me about an hour ago. Oh well.

I can’t wait for the stream archive so I can watch myself win easily and then get beaten hard. Haha.

I think I did pretty well for my first major (3-2 in my SSF4:AE pool). I’m just happy that won my match on the stream and I represented my DeeJay the whole time. Looking forward to the next event!

tough choice. Trying to decide if i am going to keep Viper as a main, or just put her as my second and do work with Oni from now on.
