I have been toying with an idea… what do you guys think. This is only an idea meaning it is not final… Haz wanted to do some streaming at DEVASTATION and I was noodling, do you think there is enough want out there for a dedicated “challenge” stream? First to 10s, team shenanigans, etc.?
Depending on what we decide to do we might even be able to throw a smaller stage at it… I know no big screens or anything ($$$) but that does not mean we could not throw a big TV for display(s) at it as well. Even if there is a want for this we might not do it - there is a bunch o’ cost with adding it (~$2,000 in power/internet/etc).
I thought I would throw it out there, let me know.
Sounds, but w/ the actual Dev stream goin (Level Up ect…) Idk if it’d be worth it to shell out that extra money when the overwhelming majority will be watchin the Level up stream. (obviously not knowing how much lower itd cost than an extra stream) Something like capping Money Matches and uploading them later ect sounds like a better alternative, similar to what he did for you guys at the beginning of the Ranbats and what Focus Fire did for EVO.
BTW… even though it has not been officially official spoken about… you guys heard we have Level Up X Team Sp00ky streams this year? We have two primary streams running all weekend long.
speaking of officially official (lol) whats up with all the other officially official announcements?? There is so much great news…are we really just gonna string people along and make them wait???..I already know the answer…what a jerk…

robb: honestly, money match stream actually sounds pretty friggin awesome. i dont think i ever heard of that ever going down before during a major. I seriously think the idea has potential. Especially if player A just lost to player B on the main stream and demands a salty runback, they go to MM stream for $100. That sounds pretty hype. Just seems like an interesting idea to me

if you were planning on dropping TWO grand on another stream you might as well set up a hotel room for money matches ALONE after hours HOSTED by Hazmat with DEV producing…
reece is correct with his statement, not a lot of players will be watching the “challege stream” if both spooky and level up are running at the same time, which gets haz almost no exposure…
if you want FIGHTING game players to finally think that DEV is something worth going to I think the HAZmat money match room would be a sick idea, (also giving levelup and spooky time to relax from streaming) maybe even renting out a bar close to what Valle did with bar fights a while back, fighting game players like to gamble, like to money match and like to drink…
now a collaboration of both FOCUS FIRE and HAZmat would be a good idea… the focus fire booth was tight as fuck at evo and having HAZmat stream and commentate would be cool as fuck… Haz could get top players to commentate with him on the stream… there is an idea for you robb…
