We had 60 viewers at 5am for muji/luey casuals. That’s pretty cool people stuck around
Congrats to all who won; I wasn’t able to make it, but I’m sure it was hella hype.
And GG’s to those who came to Gameworks on Thursday; I’ll be practicing as soon as I can get a copy of AE for my comp. But for the time being, Thursdays are the only days I can practice.
Ok guys am still a zombie from last night and all but I have to point some stuff
1- Happy Birthday Lueeeeeeeeeeey
2- Shout out for everyone that made it yesterday really guys props for all of you who made it from so far
3- Blaze blue people you really brought it to the table and hope u keep it like that always cause that was sick and u didn’t take much time only 30 minutes extra which was not bad at all
4- AE oh man AE as much hype as it was but I donno what happened to poeple bringing them setups. we eneded up running a 33 man tournie on 2 setups “360” cause no one brought them setups with them like I asked and for sure no one want to play it on PS3 and it took us 3 freaking hours to finish it but god damn was hype all the way but yea we r gonna work on that
5- MVC 3 dope but late cause of AE so again am sorry for the poeple that couldn’t stay late I totally understand and again will work on the setups thing with those lazy bums that didn’t bring them last night
6- one more and last big thing i’d like to say to DAN & Jake “am glad u guys came and it was good to see u again but u have no idea the hell I been through to get the stream back again for everyone so show some appreciation and don’t gimme the grumpy face or the complaining and gimme a break. mvc was late but people left when it was not convenient for them and I don’t have to hear complains for 30 minutes cause I don’t need that at all trust me on this and the consistent requesting to recreate the bracket cause u guys play each other all the time and u don’t want to play each other in the tournament is just LAME. we have Rick Dawg and Sabre play with each other all the time and we have Armando, Luey, Muji& Dana play all the time and u have me and Arnul play all the time and we don’t ask for this stuff. it’s a tournament so if u don’t want to play againest each other just simply one of u don’t enter and just add more stress to me which I don’t want” so from now that’s a rule in my tournies and am not gonna talk about this again cause it’s not worth it and u should be knowing it already.
again for everyone sorry for the late mvc thing and next time totally will not be the same and am sure all of u had a blast no matter an mvc torunie or not with the casuals all over the place so till then see ya
Shout out to SF Punker. MY GOD was some solid gameplay he was doing all night last night and another shout out for Tubazo for coming all the way from Flagstaff to here “you rock man”
WWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWW
what happened that it stared that late?
Edit… as I posted… got the answer above me,
AiAB had 3rd strike on freeplay haha… Lego Batman n Robin is fuckin hilarious, till the game glitch’d out Man-Bat and couldn’t continue stayed till about 1…
can’t wait for my new stick to get here…
GGz… Still need a lot of discipline on the good ole execution and making sure my hands work front
PS… dev looks fun, umm… do you gotta pay the ticket fee and then for tournies?
Bitches shouldn’t be complaining about who they play, I had to play Gio and Danny in tourny last night and we always play regularly! Don’t complain or give us your salty face cuz next time I’m just gonn bukkake your face!
Hello, i would like to introduce myself. i currently live in east tucson on speedway. i am looking for ppl to play casuals with. i usually dont have time to make it to aiab so if i can find someone who lives on east speedway to run sessions with that would be mas appreciated. ty for your time reading this
haz: thanks for opening your house up to all of us and starting the stream again, good shit man…
blazblue crew it was awesome you guys came out with force; kept coming back and shit guys, new competition is always wanted;;;
TWO FUCKING SETUPS FOR SSF4, everyone should try and bring a copy of the game and possibly a setup to help the cause, and those who already have thank you…!!! please continue to help out…
SSF4 ass edition should be held last from now on, Marvel just finishes sssssssssooooooo much faster…or one side tourney (BB, or Mk9) and one main tourney (AE or MvC3)…
Haz its awesome your trying to bring everyone together but realistically having 3 or 4 tourneys in one day is very difficult task , and running all tournies at once doesnt work to well as people will always find something to bitch about: I dont like playing two games at once, whoever is holding up the bracket in whatever game, i dont like this or that system, too much fucking whinning…
TO the new motherfuckers that are starting to show up more: Good Shit…!!! its fucking awesome, keep coming out, tell your scrub ass friends, then bring your scrub ass friends, come to improve, come to WIN and not to whine…
gppd shit haz…always…
side note: six people for Mk9 (at best)…
also arnol(d) is a fucking bum scrubs ass punk bitch…always…
Bracket fixing is really ridiculous and I can’t believe anyone actually thought that shit would be okay.
I hear you guys about running 3 tournies on one day is alot but I believe if we got 5 dedicated setups for each game we can finish each tournie in 2 hours and i’ll work on this and let u know and I’ll put MK a side for now since only 2 people showed up for it last night till we figure something out with the MK people
Haz, we will talk tomorrow about what to do. Just as soon as I get settled into the new place. Almost all the problems last night, which were not suprising, can be easily solved. You just look at this time as the testing ground, we got our info, now we adjust.
I hear you bro. was telling Armando last night that me and u will talk so hit me up whenever u get free and good luck with the moving
Arnulfo steppin his homo game up I see…no homo.
Cannot believe I was able to function at work this morning as coherently as I did from 3 hrs of sleep, but I digress…
Big Big HUGE thanks to Haz and Co. for everything, for bringing the stream back and for allowing shitloads of people over to play and hang out; this was my first time playing at Haz’s and despite things starting late just know that all you guys do for the community is very much appreciated
Awesome seeing such a huge turnout, I’m assuming post-EVO interest? Whatever it is, I hope it continues as well and we continue to get the new blood to come out and play and learn. Also was good to see the old Phoenix DS/MC crew out tonight, sorry I failed you guys lol thx for the drinks anyway
GGs to all I played during casuals and the tourney, sorry if I didnt catch your guys names or introduce myself to the new guys I’m horrible at remembering names lol. GGs to the Cody I played on the stream, to Jon (made me sell out DeeJay to beat ya lol), to the Vega player (I really had to be patient that match), and Dan and SNK for tough tough matches. Special thanks to Aaron(Munchi) and anyone else I bummed a stick off of.
I really hope I can make it to more in the future, especially with 3sO coming out, we shall see.
Thanks again Haz
Hey haz…

Shout out to the Munchi hype factory
I had a great time at Hazems yesterday.Big thanks to him and his family for having everybody over!
I agree with Armando, having a set amount of people that are willing to bring a xbox set up to ensure tournaments are ran quickly is key.
Regarding Marvel, Leaving/asking for your money back because it was so late is totally understandable, but anyone that complained or bitched about the circumstances to Hazem (or anybody for that matter) is pretty uncalled for.
Hey man, I hate to say so, but I had hesitated to post because I wasn’t sure if anything was gonna be going down. Now I can say for sure that it won’t. The couple of these that I’ve managed to run have been the result of a ton of reliance on the community and some of my close friends as well as with a shload of time and effort of my own. I dunno if the “roster fuck up” you’re referring to was at the last event we held before Evo (which I thought was actually pretty damn well organized) or the one we ran a few weeks earlier (admittedly, a meltdown disaster–yeah, it was my first time), but even with the experience of running a few tourneys, I can’t say with full confidence that something I were to run this week would be any good. Too many variables. Is someone going to bring one more set-up so we have enough to run a decent event? If Armando’s not gonna gonna come out with his set-up to save me, will people from Tempe bother coming when they can just go to his place? Are people still going to be recovering from Hazem’s this weekend? Are there still people from that first attempt that aren’t willing to try us again because that night went so poorly?
This isn’t meant as bitching and hopefully it doesn’t come off as such, but considering the number of events being run in the Phoenix metro these days, I don’t want to do the work to put something together when there’s a very realistic chance that it’s going to suck. It isn’t as if people can’t find a place to play Street Fighter on a Wednesday night if they really want to. Other guys who are better equipped and connected are running perfectly good events. The last thing I want to do is drag a bunch of dudes out to the west valley and then disappoint them with a lackluster experience. This all got started because I wasn’t a member of the community and thought there might be a need for someone who was willing to orchestrate things. Now, having met all of you guys and being in the loop as far as get-togethers go, it’s obvious that isn’t the case.
If someone’s going to be hosting something like this, it really needs to be run right. Unfortunately, I feel like it’s beyond my means to consistently do so right now. Thanks to all of you who came out, especially those who contributed with equipment or advice. As long as I’m not in charge of any tourneys, the hope is that I might be able to finally make it out to some of the other guys’ places to play. God knows, it would do me some good to PLAY the game for once.
