Hey just wanna throw out there that I’m looking to level up a bit more too – I’ve relocated near ASU (Scottsdale and Curry). I’m terrible so keep that in mind. I’d play w/ Lumaire at the Quadrangles but all the freshmen girls there have da’ clap.
GGs to everyone last night. Spiteful, I don’t know what it is but I can’t seem to beat you. Let’s play a solid set sometime, I’d really like to figure out what I’m doing wrong. I think a lot of it has to do with my team composition being so heavily focused on Zero. This goes for Armando too, I have a hard time figuring out why exactly I lose during our casuals. Against Jeo, Haz, Sean and especially Cory I can understand why I lose, but against you two I have a real hard time identifying what exactly I did wrong. It’s not a sleight by any means, I think I’m just not seeing something about this game. Shoutouts to the Armando x Spiteful verbal duel though.
GGs to Alonso too. I think it’s getting very close to the point where I’m gonna have to switch characters to play against you. I used to be able to cope with the bad matchup against your Yang, but lately that line’s been getting crossed more and more often. And screw Zaine, he bitches all the time and yet we still break even (I think?) on sets.
New team is Zero/Doom/Strider! Gonna see how it works out, I was pleased with how my braindead Strider anchor turned out. If it doesn’t work out maybe I’ll try Wesker next. But I’m gonna miss Vergil.
One more thing, I’m a little bummed out about the turnout yesterday. There were a ton of people there, but there were more people from the West side than the East side. Where are all these Tempe folks at? Some of the West side folks drive 30+ minutes to get here and they end up playing each other, that really sucks.
wednesdays are the worst for me now. i work a lot of hours, especially on wednesdays. im usually spent mentally, and physically. then i got the gf thing, and then im just out of time.

Edit: I think I’m genuinely considering Dormammu as an anchor now. I think I’ll need to play some matches with him first, but his combos are stupid easy and his damage is really high. The zoning part seems like the hardest part, so we’ll see what happens.
