GGs. That Ghost Rider unblockable is insane. And I can’t stand fighting against Spencer as an anchor.
I might go back to Doom as my anchor, he seems to fit my style better and though he has shitty anchor matchups, I might just bear with them.

I’ve been working really hard to try and get into this game and get a team that is unique to my play style and is also effective. I think I’m on the right track but I still have a long road ahead of me when it comes to match-up experience.
And yes, anchor Spencer is SOOO powerful. I need to work on my corner combos a bit more when I’m playing online. There was far too many times where I could have closed it out and I couldn’t get my TK wire grapple or keep you in a juggle state.
Last night was rough, got blown up in spectacular fashion by Forward and Spiteful and lost my car keys. I really, really appreciate everyone taking a look to try and help find my keys, even if it interrupted the tournament. If anyone has PSN, I’d like to get some games in online sometime!

I log on to the stream to listen to Diante say some FAKE talk about him having a 3.6 GPA at a mumble mumble. Then MissSnk is being all rude trying to hypnotize me with his watch and then not moving the whole match against Adon and all the AIAB kids with blue shirts had sad faces and required hugs and then scumbag shows up looking like a bum jesus and I felt like I was watching one of those save the animals infomercials so I left.

I’d say the vast majority of players are on xbox out here, so you are probably better off coming out to the local gatherings if you want to get some games in.

Also, where are you in the valley? We have different gatherings on the West side and in Tempe.
I live off of Dunlap, not sure if you know where that is. Attending the Art Institute so my general knowledge of where things are is limited.
brainpipe: Yeah, I sort of noticed which kind of put me at a disinterest, but I am willing to re-adjust and learn. Currently a pad player, and depending if I feel more confident I will transition to stick within a month or so.
Hey there, I’m also someone looking to get into the local scene a little. I was wondering if there is a meeting place near ASU, since I’m a student living there right now. I saw that there are tournaments at Laveen, but my lack of a car gets in the way of getting there.
looks like new east and west blood. I unfortunately, cant recommend any westside spots for AE, we pretty much all play marvel, with some on KOF currently, so you would have to travel a bit for some comp in that.
Speaking of AE, shout outs to all the people who got punched in the face by guile, I called that shit before the tournament even started. I truly havent played or enetered a tourney for SF4 in well over a year, so i was rusty as hell, but going in i knew somebody was eating a st.f to the face. oh and isaac, you totally should have done more jaguar kicks on dee jay
