I read the nerf was done pre-release to the game, based on them “thinking” it was gonna be OP. But i must say, i wqas pretty disapointed they removed that and left so much other garbage in…does wesker really need extra speed and damage on his glasses??

Why the hell was Tron ever invincible in the first place? And why can’t they be assed to fix the shitty gimmick characters? Giving some of Wright’s normals high- or low-invincibility frames would at least let his neutral game be serviceable enough that he isn’t demoted to an aggravating gimmick that only makes dumb characters dumber (koff0koff).
Speaking of justified nerfs, does anyone know if Wesker’s no-shades stacks additive or multiplicative with X-Factor?

Yeah, that last part is called the ride the lightning loop. I have my own variation of it that does 1.2 mil with 1 bar, just don’t have it down as solid as hI would like.

haha cory and zaine had a lot of wrong info about sakura and cody. but its all good. its hard to keep track of it all. i know it is for me. the funniest part is when cory said “cody doesnt have very good normals.” and zaine’s retort on that was pretty funny. cody indeed does have powerful normals.
it was fun playing ae. kinda resurrected some long dormant tactics that i havent used in a very long time, as well as some newer strats that seemed to work really well.
mike: looking at the matches again, i dunno how you lost to dan. you dominated him in winners, and mostly dominated him in losers, then something just happened. i felt like there was no way you shoulda lost. maybe got too comfortable in the lead, or overly confident. i didnt see the match live. but when i went into watching the losers bracket match knowing that you lost, im watching the whole time thinking maybe i was wrong and you didnt lose to him. but it showed at the very end. you play so well, its like super tiny stuff to clean up on and your game will be godly

I watched the replays of the marvel tournament at hazems, not surprised spiteful took it one bit with the level of play he brought compared to the competition.

So, looking to get some feedback from AZ on this team assembly before I commit a ton of time into it haha. I am looking it giving the following a try:
Captain America (Shield Slash)/Storm (Whirlwind)/Magneto (Electromagnetic Disruptor)
Goal is to have whirlwind to keep pests away and to use EM Disruptor to get in with Cap. All 3 characters deal wonderful damage. Cap has buffed mobility and combos in general due to self-otg capability. Storm hailstorm is great to DHC into off of Cap’s Hyper Charging Star. Magneto is beastly in XF3. With all of these factors together this team should (theoretically) be pretty good. However, before committing a grip of time I would like feedback from the AZ community on the team and my basic ideas on the structure.

but regardless, I am always up for Marvel during this break! Let me know if you want to play online or get games in on any random day of the week. Would be willing to play on days that you don’t host if you want to fyi.

Damn, I watched some of the matches, more so mine in particular and it’s bittersweet. I’m eager to get better and learn, but I just felt like I played horrible that day.
