Spider Sting or Ultimate Web Throw. Tatsu can be a powerful weapon at times, but it’s not potent enough to be abusing it tat often.

Oh you’re talking about that one… but yes, grounded tatsu and :f: + :h: both place Akuma in an aerial state.
:h: Tatsu grounded is +5 on block but is unsafe if you pushblock it correctly. You need to time the pushblocks so that the 5th one will be out of range and will thus whiff.

Back in the saddle with Spider-man (web ball)/ Dr. Strange (bolts)/ Deadpool (katanaramma)… And it feels so good.
Want to vent about Wolverine… I’m thinking to just start playing keep away from him and have him attempt to catch me… Everywhere I turn- dive kick city. At least Doom’s are slow and predictable… Wolvie seems to be all over the place with his… And I want to puke everytime I see the day one combo- still killing my Spidey. Of all the characters giving me trouble on my comeback tour- Wolvie takes the cake.
Here are some stuff you may want to minimize to decrease your chances of getting dive kicked - aggressive air dashing, web balls/throws when not full screen away, aggressive dash under reset/cross up attempts, normal jump height zips/zip cancels when Wolv is under you and inputs on wake up.
You have to space your moves well and play patiently against Wolvy or you’re going to eat either one of his dive kicks or cross up slashes. Spider sting is really good to control his aggression. I initially though that the match was 6:4 favor of Wolverine but as of late, I think it’s around 5:5 to 5.5:4.5 (still to Wolv) if you have a good neutral assist.
You want to sting from his rear leg right? Cause his extended leg will eat the sting?
Same for Akuma and his dive kicks- very similar… For some reason, Akuma’s don’t give me anywhere near the headache.
I guess I need to play around with wolverine to see how he feels, and get use to his options upon landing the dive kick (unsuccessfully). From what I’ve been seeing, it’s super jump and dive kick again.
I don’t usually challenge dive kicks because they usually trade and people who I play against always have them covered.
i find cr. is good way to check wolvie’s dick kick especially if you can crouch under him while he’s in the air, but i also like to you s.:h: if im in proxy of Wolvie to check him as he jumping. Most of the time s.:h: usually beats him before he can input the dick kick and of course if you do land the hit spider sting or web throw is the best way to go after. I gave up on trying to beat wolvie with a straight up spider sting.
yeah i don’t even contest divekick. i just back up and call my neutral assist and hit confirm off that.

I also lost to that same team during my first major tournament here in Aussie. I think the problem is more of the vajra assist which limits Spidey’s air options a bit. As for Viper without vajra, I never had a problem playing against that since it’s relatively easy to zone her out.<br>
yes, vajra is limiting my air options, and then viper can easily do her combo from random vajra, and again no one in Indonesia playing C.Viper, so it’s kinda hard for me to playing vs C.Viper
whats a good counter for spiderman with doom missisles? i cant find a way around it…
What are you having a hard time with
Personally a good beam assist or strong anti-air assist will work. I personally use doom’s plasma beam assist or dante’s jam session. You’ll find that jam session is a great assist if not one of the best for shuting down spidey’s approaches including backed by missles.
Its crazy cuz on mu channel I just posted a few vids against a c.viper/dante/strider player. I had my 1st run in w/ the player named hello momomo last Tuesday n spidey was an issue for her. Yes I said her! Its a female c.viper player, I was just as shocked as impressed at how she upped her playstyle in 4 days. What you’ll see on my channel is the result of her 4 days worth of intense training.
Wait a second, I remember playing that same person in player matches. I think I’ve seen someone named Momo here on SRK and I think they are the same person.

having a hard time fighting a good dante. dante can just up back purple ball hammer all day and scheme . always gotta hope for a unsafe teleport or a webthrow. feels like i gotta take a lot of risk to get a hit. some tips would help i think im just playing scared. i play a lot with Seouljer online he plays mag/dante/sent or akuma i think i forget. i always get bopped by his dante . learning the match up is tough i dont know why. he’s just way better than me haha.
