Actually it was revealed some time ago that the Hulk was holding back in WWH because he literally had the power to “break the world”. That’s why when he lost control, he told Tony to zap him with those satellites before he destroyed the planet (dude was causing earthquakes that threatened to sink the entire eastern seaboard with each step).
When Hulk did cut loose some time later in his own comic he ended up destroying a planet.
So yeah, I think Hulk was more than capable of killing Sentry, but I guess he was satisfied with only beating the living crap out of him.
Thor did win against Hulk in Fear Itself, but he didn’t DEFEAT him, he just “removed” him from the field of battle, but a win is a win.
(I won’t mention Thor passing out into a coma soon afterwards while Hulk was still conscious and kicking vampire ass):razzy:
Actually my beef with WWH wasn’t with Hulk. His Warbound should’ve gotten taken out by the likes of Ms. Marvel, Luke Cage, She-Hulk, and Doc Samson alone.

I like Simonson’s Thor run the best… I never really cared for Thor before then or since.

Sentry wanted to die though. it’s not like Thor was bodying him. He was fighting Sentry and the Void, nothing was really stopping him. Until he asked Thor to kill him.
Though I doubt a fusion of both forms of Bob, could single handedly be beaten by either Thor or Hulk. He was pretty godly, and pretty much Thanos’ level.
Thor and Hulk, are pretty much one of the most power guys in the Avengers roster. Though Thor is more versatile than Hulk, he can fight magic, he can fly, and he knows how to limit his collateral damage. Hulk has unlimited physical strength than Thor, but Thor does have magic, which, in my view makes them even. And they pretty much showed that in the movie, Hulk can only take on so many targets at once, unlike Thor.
That said, Thanos I would say is stronger than Thor and Hulk, since he can augment his strength and is a tactician. if he couldn’t go toe to toe with them, he wouldn’t be such a problem in the MU/MCU in my opinion.
Ironically it took someone like Drax the Destroyer, who was created specifically to kill Thanos, to do the deed.
We talking comics here? Because Comic Iron man is broken. Even old, obsolete versions of the Armor let him left up 16 tons and fly around with it. His armor easily outclasses legitimate super beings, and in some ways its even better because he can always keep upgrading with new tech.
He has PWNed villains like Omega Red! A guy who has easily made marvel heavy hitters like Wolverine & colossus his bitch on more than one occasion.
Outside of it Stark is obviously useless in a fight, but once he gets the Armor on, bitches get slapped… HARD.

I wouldn’t call Wolverine a Marvel heavy weight or Omega Red for that matter. I would consider them mid-tier at best.
I was talking about Tanks like Hulk and Thor, etc. Tony tends to get his shit pushed in whenever he takes on these guys.

IM knocked Hulk on his ass with the Hulkbuster armor. Wasn’t an all-out war though, more like, “Ok can we talk now?” after he successfully HALTED a rampaging Hulk in his tracks.
