I think Loki’s reaction to being shoved by Hulk added a whole other level of awesome to the scene. The outrage and frustration as he was flipping out on Hulk were perfect. Hiddleston if anybody deserves some kind of award for this performance. He’s by far my favorite actor in this film now.
Pretty sure this will outsell even TDKR but im also pretty sure TDKR will be better. This is just like wayne outselling alot of rappers he isnt better than lol

Yeah I don’t think TDKR will break Avengers record. TDK was able to do so well because of the Joker and Heath Ledger’s spectacular portrayal not to mention his final role before his tragic passing. Bane isn’t really on the radar with the casual audience. I don’t even think TDKR will break opening weekend numbers set by TDK.
Saw it, loved it bruvs. I loved how no one in my theater got the “well leave the 20” spinners off" joke from IM. For the longest I couldnt recall who ruffolo was, untill i heard him speak. that was manning from collateral one of my all time favs. auto-like for me. all in all there was a nice balance between the cast, tho i think it was slightly biased towards IM a bit, but prolly due to IM3 being not too far off. only thing that could have made it better would have been a WM cameo. Loki was fucking good, and on point. still need to see it 3 more times

I honestl could careless about he overall sales, so long as the movies that are good make enough money to convince studios to not put out shit and make sure they are getting us good product. Wit hthe success of this movie, we know that MArvel wil ltry their damnedest to stick to the successfult parts of the formula - easy to follow plot, even screen time, dividing the team up into situations where htey can be dominant, constant flow of action, but not non-stop, comedy without overbearing comedy, and one of the most important things…finding out quick and easy ways to sum up events that are needed to answer the ‘whys’…like tying up Thor’s precense being handled in like 10 seconds. I’m hoping MArvel does not do the dumb thing of trying to throw shitty Antman movies outthere in hopes they stick off the Avenger’s name alone, and instead does it the right way.
I wont get into a Batman/Avenger war…I havne’t liked any of the new Batman movies…not calling them bad, just not my cup of tea. I prefer the ‘Jack’ Joker…so I’m biased and admit it (not ot the actors but the style of movie). The things I enjoy in a movie…Avengers was full of. Batman will have a couple cool fight scenes and then be filled with Bruce Wayne yawn. But just because the last Bat movie sold well, doesn’t even make it superhero movie goat (I’ll take X2 or Spiderman 2). ticket prices have been going up and created an ‘inflation’ in terms of what movies are making. When adjusted I think ET is still #1…and like titanic is #2.
I don’t think Loki gets enough credit. Hiddleston actually gave the best performance of the entire cast IMO. I’ve always said a hero can only be as good as his villain, and the movie wouldn’t have been half as good if not for his performance…it was nailed just right. Kinda makes me want him back again, but I know thats not ‘real’ :sad:
I’m going to further ignore the trollephant in the room.
As for Loki, I hope they address the consequences of his actions from this film in Thor 2 at least. I know they need to give some other characters attention in these films but I can’t get enough of Hiddleston’s Loki.

yes the little things like him showing brief instances where he recognizes he’s in over his head were perfectly performed by hiddleston.
here’s hoping he comes back at least as a minor villain in the future.

I already got the disc out…but I have a hard time changing my team of Silver Surfer/Deadpool/Hulk/Ironman. Deadpool is a ‘mutant’ har so he’s an Xmen har not an Avenger. I might be convinced for $5 to swap out SS…but for CapA? Not happening…
