Avengers movie thread

The one shot where all 6 members tower over a defeated Loki in Stark Tower was epic!!

Also did anyone else feel like they made Loki a little too weak for this film. He usually could hold his own a little better.

Spoiler

Thanos looked epic during the credits!! I really hope they make him the baddest mother fucker to ever grace the silver screen. He’s a Titan that’s infatuated with Death, herself! Hollywood better do him justice.

Dollhouse was kinda weak, in my opinion.

I felt that his run on Runaways was weak. At least we got a cool character out of it.

OK just making sure he isn’t some sort of super director lol, so far I’ve only seen a couple things of his, and they were all good. Except for vampire stuff, bitches need to get over that fad lol.

Maybe we’ll finally get to see a Firefly sequel now that Joss is the Hollywood golden boy for the moment.

edit:

I mean ‘Serenity’

He learned his martial arts from his WW2 era. Any useful well known martial arts, is obviously old ESPECIALLY in the marvel universe. So there’s nothign really for him to learn.
Coupled with the fact that he’s created his own fighting style.

Spoiler

Yea I mean, ANYONE can super armor command dash through automatic machine gun fire without so much as blinking. And then brainwash SHIELD agents.

I’m starting to think some people saw a different movie then friday. What movie did you guys go see?

Yeah I know the part in the comics but him learning martial arts in the MCU was not yet shown.

haha! I actually thought Loki was borderline OP, he even went toe to toe with Thor although admittedly Thor was probably holding back in hopes of saving his bro.

I don’t understand why they disliked each other from the start. maybe there’s a deleted scene somewhere that fleshes it out, but when they start arguing from the beginning it just feels like 'woah wait, why doesnt cap like stark?" but then they get along so all is

Its more so that Stark is so care free and jokes a lot as opposed to Caps by the book, serious approach which why they didn’t get along.

Yeah, his bit with Runaways was pretty good. Though, the whole 3rd volume/season/whatever just seemed weird because they completely changed the style of it.

Yeah, a shiv to the ribs would piss off anybody, but the fact that Loki manned up enough to directly challenge him got some serious man points from me.

Spoiler

Did anyone else think that the huge dragon worm was THE big bad in the movie? I did, but after Hulk one hit kills it (which was one of the top 5 moments in the movie) only to have three more come through the portal, I actually said “oh shit” I liked being surprised like that.

Hulk was definitely my favorite part(s) in the end fight, so much lols ensued.

Just saw it, favorite nonfighting scene was hulk’s response to loki’s “I’m a god” speech.

Does anyone else like Mark Ruffalo as Banner over Norton? I feel like he portrayed the character much better.

Ruffalo was one of the best parts of the movie.

So after seeing that pretty eyebrow-raising additional scene after initial credits…

[details=Spoiler]Does anyone else think that the next movie might be about the Infinity Gauntlet or what? I know Thanos is
a motherfucking nightmare all on his own but dang, I’m getting the sneaking suspicion that Silver Surfer might
be involved as well. Possibly Adam Warlock? Someone stop me if I’m jumping the gun at all.[/details]

~K.

Great movie, everyone got to shine from villain to good guy.

Hulk was amazing.

Poor cap, I don’t think they’ll ever be able to do him justice as a live action with that suit…

Cap really should have been bouncing around punishing troops left and right. He really can stand toe to toe with most for some period of time.

Until they have cap doing stuff like the guy that played abom did to hulk in the last hulk movie… I don’t think I’ll ever be happy with him.

Outside of that movie was a 9/10

You’re jumping the gun.
It’ll take some time before they get to that point to use him. He’ll be a behind the scenes guy at most before he officially debuts.

Guardians of the Galaxy has been optioned as movie from Marvel studios. If it gets greenlit they could expand on the cosmic side of things a bit more
