I loved that Tony Stark’s suit was pushed to their limits. It makes me wonder how much time and alcohol he’s going to sink into creating his next suit for Iron Man 3. Have they even started filming that yet?

Nothing wrong with what Nolan is doing. His films play up on what the dark knight always was which is like a detective, film noir type movie. Yeah you get your action beats but the drama and suspense is what grabs you. I still maintain though that Avengers is right up there with Dark Knight and possibly Dark Knight rises as best comic book movie ever.
That being said, the bar has been raised so high at this point, that the Justice League movie(if it ever happens) has to do better than Avengers.

I have a question for you guys who’ve seen The Avengers in theaters: What were the crowd’s reaction when the new Dark Knight Rises trailer starts playing?
It was dead silent throughout the whole trailer and some scattered claps afterwards. I don’t know if my hype meter is gonna be high for that movie but i’m pretty sure its gonna good nonetheless.
If anything the Expendable 2 trailer got people pumped and going nuts especially seeing JCVD looking pimped out and fighting Stallone.

[details=Spoiler]See that’s what I heard. I think that’s, (pun intended) a bit Extreme. It took Tony years to get that advance and even then he only did it because someone else beat his ass with such power. Leap frogging over how obsessive Tony is about being able to build suits to defeat everyone good or bad takes away from the character. Extremeis is like bam “I literally am Iron Man now. I’m a Cyborg! You can’t beat that!” Though there are obvious downsides to being cybernetic in nature I was hoping that could stay in the comics. At worse it’ll be as bad as Iron Man 2 which means it’ll be decent/good. My suit choice would have been the perennial fighting game favorite Modular Armor. I loved the idea of having one armor that could use a lot of different pieces to handle different threats but yeah I know that that suit doesn’t push the man that is Tony Stark.

We definitely can expect Taskmaster to make an upcoming appearance in a movie (probably Cap or Amazing Spiderman 2) because he has a long history with Shield,the Avengers, and Parker.
