nah, im just shitting on people. also your opnion is not valid when it isnt right. you can enjoy the show all you like, but that doesnt change the fact that the show is riddled with problems (shit cast with nobody thats even slightly likeable). none of the characters acts nogically, there was logic in the old series. when things get illogical, they must get shit on unless its fucking awesome. this aint awesome.
I would have liked to see more of grown-up Aang. Just because he managed to neutralize the fire lord doesn’t mean there wouldn’t be other characters that would represent danger to him or the world. I mean Aang only got into the avatar state against Oozai because his back crashed into a rock, sigh.
Anyway, looks like Azula’s VA will be back for Korra, hopefully someone equally as evil as Azula
she also did Mandy from Grimm Adventures of Billy and Mandy!
I met her last weekend at a comic convention in my city.
She’s very sweet and so welcoming and humble…honestly one of the nicest people I’ve ever met.
She signed my picture of her as azula too and I told her she gets my vote for sexist woman in voice acting. All in all shes really awesome to the fans and I’d love to see her come back.
remember episode today.

remember episode today.
Which means more things to bitch about.
Hurray!
LMAO I forgot how awesome Meelo is
Seems like Aang was playing favorites.
Lol I could have sworn Bolin wasn’t a fire bender, because that was a pretty sweet burn he gave mako.
Spoiler
I’ll stop now

Seems like Aang was playing favorites.
I mean you could see why
Well after like 5 pages of arguing in this thread it’s pretty funny how Korra and her dad made up with 2 apologies in like 6 seconds. I love when shit works out like that.
The Tenzin family issues were surprising but good screen time that those characters needed. I lol’d when Tenzin called his sister a whore on the sly tip. Said she “fretted” around the world to “find herself” haha.
The episode had a good blurred lines thing going until the last scene where uncle went all “UNEXPECTED!! BADGUY MOVE!” on everyones asses. Kinda poo poo’d on it too early imo, I would have likes that “who’s in the right?” story drag out a bit longer but oh well.
8/10 episode for me. Korra fight scene helped alot, I expect gifs.
Really liked this episode, especially the Tenzin trio banter.
Man, this broad Korra is annoying as fuck. What a crybaby.
Aang was younger, was living in warring times, and that li’l nigga was hard as fuck! The few times he acted out of line it was most definitely warranted. Korra cries and mopes over every little thing.
I’m sure it’s done on purpose, but holy fuck are they doing a good job of making this whiner unlikable. Come to think of it, I’m not sure I like any of the characters in LoK at all, at the moment. TLA had a lot of characters that gripped me from the get go and got me attached. None of that yet in LoK. Hopefully these cats pull through soon.
People end up harder in War Times? No, really? Any other obvious things you’d like to mention?
That’s ultimately the thing that’s going to potentially screw TLoK. No one’s nearly as hard or matured as those in TLA because they’re not in the middle of a huge ass war.
Aang being all air nomad-like, it’s hard to believe him having favorites. I’ll chalk it up to bad writing.
Ugh, someone slap Korra, please. She goes in and report to her uncle what her people are planning. Oh, and she can sure fight well against them, but she got her ass kicked easily by the chi blocker equalists.
Well, MAYBE finally she has seen the light at the end of the episode.
Really sucks that of Aang’s three kids only one had children, his bloodline could have given birth to generations of powerful benders.

Instead of ‘chalking it up to bad writing’ why don’t you try looking passed the characters’ perceptions of their childhood? It’s outside of Aang’s nature to have favourites, however ensuring that his culture survives would have been a key priority, that priority would result in him spending more time with Tenzin as he’d have a lot to teach him. For Tenzin it would be a burden, for the other siblings it would be perceived as favouritism.

The chi-blockers were more organized and better trained than those Sub-Zero wannabes.
It’s interesting to see that Aang was far from a perfect father and that there’s family problems between his kids. Helps add a bit more complexity to the happily ever after endings you get used to in kid’s shows.
the new cast is bitchmade.
And yet again, is it really so surprising that people end up more bitchmade when they don’t have to essentially be child soldiers in a century long war?
Maybe what we’re finding out is that Avatar only works when surrounded by war.

I could believe Aang was THAT bad of a father if, say, he was a single father. But he had a wife, and wives usually pull you by the ear when you are doing something wrong. I don’t think Katara would have kept quiet seeing his children be forgotten like that. You are telling me that during Aang’s long life, he never took his other children to at least ONE vacation? I don’t believe that. Well, I guess I have to believe it because the bad writing has been made official.
Anyway, here’s some muscle Korra fanart
