I know I am.
@TheSuperiorRik Whereâs your off switch?
My off switch is when the 2nd season of Behop releases.
While those characters are established doesnât mean that those characters are best suited to go more in-depth with the mythos. Say, canât use Toph to learn more about sandbending as her seismic sense isnât applicable on sand. Characters like Iroh, the Guru and Korraâs Uncle are better characters to use to learn about Spirit world as they know more about how it works than the main characters. You may need to characters entirely to see the further development of the Northern Air Temple, anything involving female Air Nomads, the Kyoshi Warriors and many more things.
Hawkingbird:
I loved those characters too but their stories have been told. Avatar has a very rich world which I personally feel will be wasted they chose to focus it around them all the time. I want to learn more about the Spirit World, the past Avatars, going more in-depth with the origins of each bending style, different variety of styles and how far it can go. There is so far you can take Aang and his crew.
I disagree.
You see since the character are already explained you can focus exclusively on this world and the mythos behind it. From the perspective of aangs kids much like Gohan did in DBZ. I think the potential for the adult counterparts would have been a amazing opportunityâŚbut skipping 100 years was a betrayal IMO.
Itâs like going from DB to GT right away.
Potential for what?
Itâs literally been peace time from the end of the Hundred Year War until now. I donât care about Tenzin just training and hanging around as a teenager.

That could all be accomplished by simply introducing new characters to the existing cast.
Gotham city isnât capped in terms of exploration just because batman is still the main focus and likewise the world of avatar can still be explored by aang and new characters who interact with him.

Why add the existing cast into something that they shouldnât be heavily involved in? Great thing about the series they never had to do that. There have been episodes where the main cast didnât even appear or only had minor roles.

WHOA! WHOA! WHOA! Youâre talking about going from High Quality to Pure Fuckery, and Legend of Korra is not that.
I get what youâre saying, though. And I do agree seeing the âGaangâ all grown up wouldâve made for some intelligent, captivating, dramatic storytelling. But I also think it was good for them to just end it at the three books. Aangâs story was told, conflict came to a conclusion and just about all of the loose ends were wrapped upâŚ

âŚand Iâll admit, mistakes were made.
Plus, for an idea that simply began as a mini-series, it spread like wildfire and had to be capitalized on.

Wouldnât havenât been that bad given thatâs exactly what were getting now with korraâŚexcept with tenzin we would have had a likeable character with a supporting cast we actually enjoy.
Again I donât mind the idea of focusing on new things but I just think the adult cast shouldnât have been left behind so soon.

Gotham is a brilliant example of what happens when you never move on from you established cast. Batman comics have fucking sucked balls for a good while now, because DC refuses to move on.

Remember the short time it did? Dick and Damien as Batman and Robin respectively in Gotham, Tim becoming Red Robin to doing his own thing, Cassandra holding it down in Hong Kong and Bruce traveling the world to recruiting people for Batman Inc knowing Dick and Damien had Gotham taken care off. That was the best the Batbooks had been in recent times.

YeahâŚand the second Tenzin boots Lin for Pema he wouldâve been as hated if not moreso than Korra.
Consider Lin like Bolin as being one of the only likeable characters and weâre back to where we started. But itâs better just because itâs not this cast?

For real, Dick Grayson is the best Batman next to early career Batman.

The difference is that at least with the adult cast the ideas and concept will evolve.
Batman just canât seem to move forward because fans bitch once dick gets the bat mantleâŚeven if it makes sense in every possible way.

I was thinking tenzin should have just stayed with Lin and we can forget the whole pema thing heh.
Now your writin Fan Fiction lol.
Ha alright I openly ship them but only because their pairing makes a lot more sense.
How does it make more sense? They argued more often then not.
Considering how she looks now we can only imagine how amazing a young lin would have lookedâŚI therefore am basing my logic off who would have been better to pound into silly puddy.
You guys are arguing with supertrollâŚ
Iâve said it before but had Tenzin stayed with Lin it could have been disastrous for air benders. Pema is younger and has given birth to 3 (probably 4) airbenders. Lin is older, not likely to have birthed as many children and the children they could have had would have a 50/50 chance of being earth benders or air benders.
