As far as the early-warning PM, np. I sent out about 30 PMs that day to every tagger I could think of (though I know I missed a few of you…don’t worry, my list for next time is much longer). Some, like you and robotron, decided to look at the old contests and figured it was a good idea to enter. Others, like ViciousSLASH, said that it was beneath him to compete because we were all wusses. Others, like InfiniDragon615, think the av battle is a good idea, but just don’t like the darkstalkers theme. Still others, like PsychoSquall, just never replied.
Interestingly though, I’ve also gotten a bunch of entries from people who’ve never enetered this thing before, and who I didn’t pm at all. I think having this thread stickied at the top of IMM also helped get the word around (thanks TG!).
All in all, this think is a huge success, and I hope all of you stick around for #5 next week. If we can make this type of participation a regular thing, IMM will be back in no time.

If you don’t think of anything, you can always enter that animated version of your still av that you sent orginally. (Which was way better than the animated one you’ve got me holding now) You might even wanna just do a new still one, and enter that animated version of the static one (god, it’s hard to do this without describing the damn things!)
My advice is for you to make a new still one, and then just edit your name out of that animater version of the…other…one.
But whatever you wanna do. I’m simply the host.
