Autocorrect Flash Kick and escaping 1F unblockables

how do you jump cancel a jump :s ? you have to have a normal with it or what?

then i am Screwed

I’m still holding off on capcom possibly fixing the FK in USF4. I’m getting tired of being hit with shoto’s crossup tatsu online. I have an OS that could beat it, but the FK doesn’t go the correct direction. I should be able to OS jump-ins like that, just like anyone with a DP can(f,d,df,b+p/k for them).

You actually OS crossup tatsus with a delayed wakeup c.lk. (b, d+lk)

As long as you hit back first for a split second to block for a non-crossup, the delayed c.lk will sneak under the tatsu and punish.

Flashkick is still dumb though.

Yeah, this is the OS I use offline. Online though, I still get hit a lot. If FK worked the way it should, he’d have a better OS in this situation.

Hopefully we can get an online lag option for training mode in USF4 like mvc3 has.

Now that you mentioned it. C.lk can also be used to punish deejay’s early j.knee in the situation where Guile will get stuffed if he tries to c.hp. A lot of deejays like to abuse this on Guile.

Nah, you wan’t to use guile’s c.mk against jumping d+lk. For some weird reason it beats it free from all angles. It beats it the same as it beats Guy’s elbow drop free.

From combofiend…

“I think we’ve got them taken out of the game completely…come test your setup at the loketest”. This might imply that they’re trying to remove them one by one instead of fixing the whole system. This can also imply that there could still be unblockables in USF4. Good thing I made this video! You can guarantee that none of these unblockables in my video are going to work on Guile anymore.

you’re welcome!

Is there a better way to practice this autocorrect. I can’t seem to get in consistently.

Not really. It’s just pretty difficult to perform. Like I said, it’s probably harder than landing 1f links.

Are you using this outside of desperation when you’re near chip death on a crossup?

I know this is an old thread, but some time has passed since is was posted and I wonder if any of you managed to put this trick in his arsenal and is now able to use it consistently. At the moment my success rates are about 50% in lab and a mere, say, 5% online. What about you? Have you got any suggestion? I think it’s well worth spending some effort in this since Guile’s anti-crossup game is poor at its best.
