Just thought I’d up and say that XBL Australia had one player with 6K+ BP (the highest I’ve ever seen from Aus is around 14K) and he had earned these points from autoblock gems with Rolento/Ken (if you play on AU XBL, you know who I’m talking about). If he lost to someone, he would just leave the lobby. So needless to say he’d have earned them all from playing D rank players over and over again.

Saw him was day 1 of DLC, he left his old gems on and I double perfected the sumbitch. Haven’t seen him since.

Wow, thanks guys. I’m pretty much okay. I ended up with a slightly cracked ribbed. It hurts, but a little Tylenol dulls it enough to be manageable. It’s not like a full-on fracture or anything. Also, Intuitive2011, no, I am not trolling. I got hit by a car. I was in a cross walk. Dude turned right on red without looking and plowed me over.

Anyway, I didn’t mean to derail the thread. Carry on.

Well, the PC version hasn’t gotten the patch that nerfs auto-block, but I did perfect a guy using the OP auto-block gems yesterday. Needless to say I was pleased. :slight_smile:

Happy to see that it’ll be even easier to deal with these auto-block users once 1.06 hits the PC.

Can you upload that match on YouTube? I would wish to see how players usually handle autoblock gem users, especially on situations like lag and stuff. :smiley:

The one I played earlier is completely dependent on them as it keeps on activating every time my attacks connect. I would have a chance if it wasn’t for the lag and teleporting that’s happening. :frowning:

I’ll see what I can do. Though I did lose that match in the end…not because of the auto-block but because I kept dropping combos. Kept getting excited; “OMG! Imma beat an auto-block user!” And then dropped combo. >:(

Gotta keep training and make these combos second-nature like in SF4. :slight_smile:

I take it that with the lack of activity in this thread that no one has been encountering any auto-block users? I haven’t encountered any, and this is on the PC version which still has the unpatched auto-gems.

You know… I think I’ve encountered MAYBE three since the patch (none in the last month or so), and they all suffered horribly at the hands of Cammy’s meter-draining pressure. :rock:

I haven’t run into any auto blockers since I started playing again.

There are still autoblock gem users in the PC, including a rank A which thankfully I managed to avoid. I actually faced one yesterday.
