Australia Only Street Fighter IV/SSFIV PSNs

Oh wow! Someone remembered me! Always happy for a game.

Has anyone else here had hellish trouble trying to join games? I swear if I try and join an endless battle I get an “unable to join game” 19 out of 20 times. I seem to have the same trouble if I invite someone to my lobby as well. They can’t join my lobby and I can’t join theirs. I tried to have some friendlies with a guy from ozhadou last night and we spent about half an hour inviting each other before giving up.

I’ve googled the problem and all my ports etc are appropriately forwarded. Any suggestions?

If either of your routers have a plug and play option you should turn it on if it wasn’t. Plug and Play essentially does all the portforwarding for you so you don’t need to bother with the extra details and PS3 has Plug and play. But yeah i usually send like 4 invites if it starts stuffing up, but never had it go to 19/20 games. It gets bad at times but never that bad.

I’ve put the entire PS3 in a DMZ – not sure if it’s working or not. See you’re online right now so maybe I’ll give it a try.

Edit: Haha, finally fixed it. Turned off Upnp on both the PS3 and the modem, but kept the Ps3 in the DMZ.
