I got another copy of mvc2 and there was a dummy.dat file in there. So if my marvel music is too much and my dummy isn’t 300 then will it work? Oh, when I made a dummy file it came out as dummy.bin… does that matter? I swear I did everything right as far as making the iso and bintoboot is concerned. I’m fucking somewhere else up though cause it’ll pull up the sega screen after the dreamcast comes up then go back to main menu…

dummy.bin is correct. every file + the dummy file has to equal 610MB so if everything except the dummy file is 344 your dummy file should be 266 because when you make it selfboot, the program makes it like 90mb bigger. Which equals to about 700MB at the end to burn on a 700MB disc.

Freakin A man…I tried like 7 times now and everyone of those disc do not work at all. I dunno what’s going on… I used everything from combomasher’s site and I made it so the selfboot image afterwards would be 700… I need to get more blank cd-r’s now if I wanna try some more.
Probably sometime this weekend but not sure if I can. If we do it will have to be kinda late cuz I will be going to ACL, that’s right lol

hahaha dude dont do that, download nullDC emulator and download daemon tool so you can test it out before burning it. you wont waste much CDs. Hit me up on AIM

nulldc is a dreamcast emulator, you use daemon tools to mount the .cdi as an image to play on nulldc to see if it works. then you can burn it without wasting CDs.
you use CDWIN to create the .iso then drag it to selfboot to get your .cdi
from there mount .cdi for lets say P drive.
open nulldc and load image from P drive.
if everything works, burn it if you want.
