Yo Justin registered us, but check the showdown website just to be sure, see you guys on Fri

how many cars are there going to be parked at my house? parking is a bitch, theres a security guard infront when you come in, tell him its apt #2944 and say you are staying until [[[[sunday]]]]] and he’ll write you a pass. you can park right infront of the pool, its next to my apt.

Well I am driving but Jake was telling me yall wont be getting in till like midnight, but I hopefully gonna try and meet up with Justin and Minh

TS6 sucked ass, but it was fun hangin out. next time i just need to remember that most probably these tournys are usually gonna start that late and are gonna take all day long. and i know if we practice, someone from austin can qualify, but we need to actually PRACTICE and not just play casuals whenever.

agreed… I lost to alex valle, so thats da end of my marvel career. Alex was so rusty too, he doesn’t play this game n e more. My gf > me at TS6… fo sho. “yeah honey, its starts at 12pm and we’l get head back to austin around 4 or 5” …yea …wat a day…

 , yea i agree with both of yall, man one thing i noticed tim was that u started playing good once u played a few matches, u almost took out nestor and he qualified. only if we didnt have to play the tournie after just sitting around and not warming up at all. it wasnt even that fun hanging out on sat, we should have been smoking more but i kept on thinking i was actually going to play some fuckin matches

fuck that bullshit as tournie total fucking waste of my last weekend of spring break, im not ready for school im going on my own break shit was soo wack need to ahve more fun before i start fucking studying 24/7. even though this tournie just made me wanna punch someone in the face ill prolly go again next yr if they throw it again i just hope that its not like this yr. they posted saying they needed more help and shit i know i would have no prob helping them out and neither would yall so maybe we can actually help them out with something, so that much pressure isnt on one person, only thing is i dont know what i would do but shit anything would be better than this yr

Sorry for all the crap that happened this past weekend guys.

The following is part of what I wrote in the TS6 results thread:

We try our hardest to run a great tournament for players to come to and I think anybody that has attended any of the 5 previous Texas Showdowns will attest to that. This year we tried and failed.

Due to mishaps in transportation and communication, our equipment inventory was depleted. The number of console tournament setups was CUT IN HALF due to this. We also had TVs that didn?t work. On the MvC2 side of Texas Showdown, we planned on having 4 arcade cabs set up for the tournament – just like last year, which ran just fine. However, during the transportation of the arcade cabs, one of the monitors broke.

Ill-fated circumstances led to the loss of 50% of our console setups and 25% of our MvC2 setups.

I apologize to all the players that came out to support our event. If this was your first Texas Showdown, please know that all the headaches were an anomaly. Everything will be done to make sure that next year?s Texas Showdown will revert back to the premier Texas tournament.
