wow man, the stick was in bad shape already, and then it just stopped working period. You’re the one that said you wanted to leave the stick there, no one asked to borrow it. It was COMPLETELY broken so we decided to try and “do you a favor” and see if we could fix it. No one would even bother touching the damn thing if it didn’t ever break on wear and tear.
Some of the disconnects were completely fucked up so I felt it would be better if it was just soldered instead. There was a problem with the roundhouse button pressing automatically sometimes. I don’t remember what’s up being wrong with it because we never really had to use your stick but I’m sure Ram could take care of it if you need it fixed. I will say that I’m sorry for not fixing it completely before I left, I forgot about it.

First of all, someone DID ask me to leave my stick because there was a shortage of sticks. Second, why is everyone acting so shady about this? No one said anything. So I’m making conclusions from what you have given me. After requesting it back for several weeks, I get back a failed science experiment. Also, wouldn’t you want to tell me about the favor? This is what I received. My friends were so nice that they tried to fix my stick which infact made things worse because there’s solder all over my switches so I can’t easily test if the switches are the problem and the button that sometimes didn’t work now just doesn’t work at all. So during your experiment, you managed to short circuit my button. I tested the board and the button is dead. Also, the random roundhouse problem, I knew how to fix. Again, all you had to do is ask/tell me about the problem. I am very aware my stick had problems. Then, your favor turns into a hassle. You know I wouldn’t have said shit if you just didn’t bring that iron near my stick. I could have very easily fixed the problem because it was a familiar problem. If you discovered my problem, I am sure you did more than “never really had to use your stick.” How can I fix my stick now when you don’t tell me what you did. All I know is you managed to short circuit the board. I can’t believe you’re trying to put any blame on me. ARE YOU FUCKING JOKING? Please put yourself in my shoes, and then read your post. Don’t fucking blame me for what YOU did. Have you ever heard a controller short circuit on just wear and tear? How much more reasonable is it to hear, “oh I just decided to mess around with a soldering iron and now a button on the actually board doesn’t work”? Also why are you sorry for not fixing it when I never asked you to? Shouldn’t you be sorry for putting a solder iron on it? I have let others borrow my stick and had problems with it, and they just tell me that and I go home and fix it. But now, I have no clue how I can fix it because I have no clue what you did exactly. TELL ME WHAT YOU DID! STOP BEING SHADY! Since you decided that you know more about my stick than me, why don’t you wire a working board so you can finish your “favor.”
What the hell is all this shady bullshit? That’s not me, I didn’t hold on to the stick, if I was holding on to the stick and you asked me for it I would have given it back. Why would anyone have some random conspiracy against you? I don’t know what Justin said but whatever, I don’t see any reason other than him being lazy.
Actually now I remember what happened, Ram “ACCIDENTALLY” soldered to the ground side of the button because the wire got ripped off or something, then I plugged in the controller so that’s what messed the pcb up. The 3rd party pcb had really odd shaped solder points so it wasn’t intentional. If you want a new pcb I’ll paypal you 5 bucks. Get the experimenting bullshit outa here. The stick broke then Justin asked if I could fix it for him because I’ve fixed his sticks before so he trusted me I suppose.
As for the fixing someone else’s stick shit, yeah sure whatever, if you knew what you were doing go ahead and fix it. It’s not like wiring a stick is that complex.
Fact of the matter is, when you talked to me before you left you were like, “Is it ok if I leave my stick here?” that made me think that you really didn’t care for it anymore. Sorry if I misinterpretted but I probably would have fixed it before I left if Justin had asked me to. It was just neglected.

If you knew how to fix some problems you should’ve stated that before because not doing so they assumed you didnt know shit. I dont think you can fix your stick now with that pcb, and why should they tell you what they did when you already self claim that it they did an experiment. And if someone ELSE did ask you too leave the stick why were you telling jake"is it alright to leave it" instead of “hey jakeclops im going to leave me stick bcz name of person told me ya had shortage of sticks”. Not everyone can read minds you know.
This is what I mean by shady. Now you tell me someone fucked up my pcb. You’re going to have to tell me what YOU did to my sticks. You know by law it’s your responsiblity to take care of my stuff if YOU said it was ok to be in your place.
Let’s be reasonable. Hypotheically, if you left your laptop at my place and I used it and it started to not work. Should I try to fix it? Let’s say I thought it was just a software problem and I reformat your computer, would you like that? What if it turned out to be a hardware problem so I screwed around inside and accidently short circuited something. Would you like that? Put yourself in my shoes. Clearly it was useful enough for people wanting to use and wanting to fix it. If it weren’t whoever messed with my board, I wouldn’t have to rewire another one. Someone needs to be a man a wire a board for me.

You’re just gonna have to get answers from Justin, I wasn’t really involved in the stick, I never really used it, all I did was try and fix it after it broke from them using it. I only went over his house on weekends. I’m just being nice enough to try and help you out with some answers since you seem to have been left in the dark.
Comparing a $1000k+ laptop to a sub-$100 joystick isn’t really a good comparison though.
