well it seems like i might be staying in town friday nite, so im wondering if anyone wants to get games in rt before showdown, i know eric and minh will already be in htown, so ever1 else if ur in town, there will be games at Swisha st. arcade
also joaquin and anyone else thats interested we need to figure out the hotel situation or whatever if we are plannin on staying there overnite…i wouldnt mind watching the finals on sun, hopefully we can figure out something before weekend so i can call and get room ahead of time if that is case

GG EVERYONE, too many custom things happened at showdown. It woulda been awesome if we all did better than what we really did, because in most cases, we definitely shoulda done better. but i guess thats how it goes. gotta dust ourselves and GET READY!!! hopefully mvc2 wont die and well get one more shot. even though no one made it to the finals, it was still a fun experience for the most part. hopefully everyone saw us bust out those COOL CONTACTS, mayn, i shoulda busted them out at the beginnin of our matches, definitely woulda helped out our game man. need to get another batch for next major tournament and everyone from team cant stop wont stop can sport some cool contacts, cause there was definitely TOO MUCH BEASTING!!!
CANT STOP WONT STOP…the weekend was hella fun, i sucked it up hardcore all weekend but like fri nite but whatever, it was too fun playin sanford, he has too many custom combos.
I didnt watch too many the matches but yea everyone in atx should have done better, eric was doing aight from what i saw he was giving duane a hard time in the matches i wathced. minh u should have beat that one dude but whatever i lost to some people i shouldnt have, too many of my series went to game three when they shouldnt have. i was actually thinking of giving marvel a break but i dont know now i have so much adrenaline going from this weekend, well see when i get back…practice mode for me though unless school or some other bs gets in the way. but crap always does, i will remain scrub for life

i dont know how many wins jumpee had but, if i didn’t fuck up the 2nd and 3rd round… he wouldn’t hav advance to 4th place. I still can’t believe he still got 4th place. But after that loss… my game just went down, im disapointed myself

MAN WHAT DA FUCK ARE YOU SMOKING MAN! JohnP is a solid player! Accept that! Just cuz he looks like clay aiken dont mean he sux ass, and I dont think he will ever lose to you in a tourny match (whoever you are). Why cant you believe he got 4th place? Is it cuz he plays mid tier characters like rogue? Remember, it dont matter if you use storm or rogue, it’s how well play them against other players. Nice try though.
Keep practicing and try not to get so nervous when playing in a fat tourny like TS5. Take it from a guy who gets nervous very easily. Dont let it affect your true skill :tup:
What happened at your match against John? Don’t tell me you accidently countered your assist in and died after that? That would’ve discouraged anyone, especially if it happened in a big tournament like TS5. I am still very bummed TS turned into a pool system right after I left US for good, I guess we never had enough people before to make it worth it to run pools. I love pools, you get to play everyone at least once, it’s the most fair way to run tournaments if time is not an issue.
Minh has a history of choking at big tournaments, it’s been very well documented. :tup:
i beat him in team tourney in the previous txsho 3 or 2 , mr. " i dont think u wil ever beat him" , but it doesnt matter…and yes i did choke i admit. i guess almost winning doesn’t count…even tho i had to fight all my 8 or 7 matches contuniously > why can’t yall put us in the last group matches knowin we were a bit late
