damn, this some crazy ass shit, i cant stop laughin my ass off, but i think ur plan worked on me joe, i really wanna play houston people so i can get better, and i also think that playin a tournament for a BK dinner or watever is awesome, but its watever. Hopefully we will eventually figure out somethin so we can all play each other.

Jesus, there’s a lot of new posts. And James, I’m not afraid of the people from Houston (I’ve beaten some of them before.) I’m just saying you shouldn’t talk shit to these people that your hardly know (or maybe you do know them). But not only are you pissing people off and getting everyone worked up, but you’re making yourself look like a moron. We’re good James, don’t get me wrong. But we’re not THAT good (I still remember that game I had with Potter a year ago at Texas showdown. Though I got schooled of course, he didn’t get a perfect on me. That match was also the most fun I ever had at playing that game. He really made me test my reflexes.)
And Justin, in case you didn’t see, I said that moving the weeklies to Saturday would be fine, and it might work out better for me. As far as this other stuff goes with buying dinners at Burger King for these Houston people…I don’t know about that. I don’t know the people who have been posting (or maybe I do, and I just don’t know their board name) so I’d like to have a better idea of what I’m going up against and not waste $5. I mean, if these people are from Houston then they are probably already pretty good. I’d be more than happy to play casuals with ANYbody though, even if I will get slutted. It’s like Tim said, the only way to really get better is to play better people. (QUIT BEASTING TIM!!!)
Playing top players in casual means jackshit unless real money is on the line. I beasted on Potter after the tourney, and I’m horrible.
Austin MvC2 scene died like 3 or 4 times, 1st when John Minco left for Dallas, 2nd when Larry left for Taiwan, 3rd when Brad and Sungjin decided to stop playing, and when Eric and his gang of 10983209821830912809321809381 viets stopped playing. =P
It used to be a pretty good rivalry between Austin and Houston in MvC2, sadly Austin and Dallas fell off, mainly sure to its top players dropping out of the scene. Now if you guys really wanna challenge the guys down here in Houston, I would suggest coming to Stargate and actually playing on the machines that will be used at Texas Showdown. If peeps are willing we could maybe hold something the weekend before Showdown if enough of you guys are interested. Perhaps a little 5 v 5, side bet action?

Ya same here, I beasted on Patric with my scrubby msp after the Austin tourny, but it means two things. Jack and shit, cuz he owned me in the tourny. Where it really counts. So ya, do what Ranma says and come on down here one of these days, it’d be fun. I’m down for alil side bet action :nunchuck:

P.S: I did make it to Austin but I didn’t have much time there, so I went to Einstein’s and actually saw Ivan there playing Tekken 5, I played 2 games of 3S, had some good matches against a guy playing Urien who was infinitely better than the last time I played him, anyone knows who he is?
Anyways sorry Joaquin and Eric for not calling, maybe next time when I actually planned this out better, and Brad and Eric and Sungjin you guys should keep playing, looks like you got lots of new blood in Austin, much better than before when all we had were like maybe 10 people.
