[Aug 29, 2012] Next Level Presents BIG 2 (SFxT 2v2/UMvC3/AE2012) (Brooklyn, NY)

Is there a tournament today?

HEY GUYs THERES A TOURNAMENT TODAY AND I BELIEVE THE WEATHER IS GOING TO BE “NICE”

HOPE TO SEE U ALL THERE

Most of you know the drill by now. Call if you’re running late, report your scores right after your match.

If you are new to Big Two or tournaments in general, here are a few tips from one noob to another:

Spoiler

-As soon as you arrive, go to the counter to pay your venue fee, and then ask where you should go to sign up for the tournament. If Sign-ups haven’t started yet, ask when would be a good time to check back.

-When you sign up, try to sign up with a nickname instead of your real name. There are plenty of guys named Chris, Mike, Steve and the like that it’s easy to get mixed up. No one is going to mix-up a name like Truckasaurus.

-If you’ve got some time before the tournament, get some casuals in. Get some food if you want, but make sure to tell one of the TO’s that you’re stepping out, and don’t leave town.

-If you have any questions/comments/dirty jokes, speak to a Tournament Organizer; that’s part of what they’re there for. But be patient if the tournament has already started and you see them busy.

-Tell Henry that his Honda is cheap, but his venue is DOPE.

It is winter folks, so bundle up, and come through. We can burn Min’s capital letters for warmth.

Remember guys Big Two #9 is this Wednesday! I’d like to see bigger numbers for both tournaments so try to make it!

If you’re in the NYC area, don’t be a stream monster. Even if you don’t want to play in the tournament (tournament nerves or money issues), come for casuals anyway! There are tons of good players at Next Level and you will always level up your game if you come out and play.

And follow the tips above, they’re very helpful ^^

Lots of 2s. I won’t be there in person but I’ll be there via stream. Wyse, hit me up via PM or FB. I’ve been meaning to ask for your help.

Are you guys going to have SFXT at the tourney today. Not sure if rules were established for this either. Thanks.

It looks like Big Two tonight will indeed feature SFXT. The only rule of note so far is that Gems are disabled (for now.)

Is SFxT going to be there tonight?

Yessir, SFXT will indeed be on the menu tonight, so call if you’re running late. As always, if you can’t make it, be sure to check out the stream. Min will be taking up streaming duties for Big Two #19, and should be going live in a little while at twitch.tv/goldencen.

Umm I’m just pointing out that TeamSpooky streaming @Own3dTV http://www.own3d.tv/live/233967/teamspooky
